• Extensive GCC authorised service network
• Strong value retention in the GCC used market

Summary

This 4-year-old Nissan Patrol SE Titanium offers a balanced entry into the legendary Y62 lifestyle, combining the iconic road presence of the V6 variant with the added convenience of the Titanium trim. With 65,000 km on the clock, its usage sits exactly within the expected annual average for the GCC, indicating a well-utilized but properly maintained highway history. The White exterior is widely considered the smartest choice for resale in the region, ensuring high demand when you eventually decide to upgrade. For the daily commuter or weekend family traveler, the Patrol stands alone for its sheer cabin volume and cooling performance that rivals struggle to match. Owning a Patrol in the UAE means total peace of mind thanks to a service network that spans every corner of the Emirates and beyond.

This Car vs Other 2022 Patrols

With 65,000 km, this vehicle aligns perfectly with the typical GCC annual mileage of 15,000–20,000 km, suggesting it has been used primarily for long-distance highway cruising rather than punishing stop-start traffic. The White paintwork is the most liquid asset in the UAE used market, reflecting heat better than darker tones and holding its value significantly better than niche colors. It represents a clean, honest example of a modern Y62 that hasn't been over-driven.

SE Titanium vs Lower Trims

The SE Titanium sits in the 'sweet spot' of the range, adding essential luxury over the base XE and SE T2 trims. It introduces 20-inch machine-cut alloy wheels, a power tailgate, and a sunroof, alongside a 13-speaker premium audio system that replaces the standard setup. Most importantly for GCC families, it features upgraded upholstery and a 360-degree camera system, which makes navigating tight mall parking much easier than in the entry-level variants.

Patrol vs Segment Rivals

When compared to the Toyota Land Cruiser 300-series or the Chevrolet Tahoe, the Patrol leads in terms of pure cabin width and second-row shoulder room. Its 140-litre fuel tank provides a massive range advantage for cross-country drives to Oman or Saudi Arabia, allowing for fewer stops than its American competitors. The Patrol's air conditioning system is widely regarded as the benchmark for the region, cooling its massive 8-seat cabin faster than almost any other SUV.

Running Costs & Resale

The 4.0L V6 offers a roughly 10-13% improvement in fuel efficiency over the V8, with real-world combined figures averaging around 11.8L/100km. Service intervals are standard for Nissan at 10,000 km, and with one of the most established authorized networks in the GCC, parts are affordable and readily available in every city. Historically, the Patrol is a resale champion in the UAE, typically retaining 85-88% of its value in the first year and depreciating much slower than European rivals thereafter.

Performance & Capability

The 275 hp V6 is paired with a 7-speed automatic transmission that is tuned for smooth highway overtaking and relaxed city driving. While the V8 is for those who want to climb the steepest dunes, the V6 4WD system still features a locking rear differential and selectable terrain modes for sand and rock, making it more than capable for family desert camping. Its independent suspension provides a 'magic carpet' ride quality that remains composed even when fully loaded with eight passengers.

Comfort & Cabin

The cabin is an eight-seat sanctuary designed for the heat, featuring powerful tri-zone climate control with dedicated vents for all three rows. The Titanium trim's premium interior materials and acoustic glass isolate passengers from the outside world, making it an ideal long-distance tourer. A cooled center console box is standard, keeping beverages chilled during long summer drives across the Emirates.

Safety

Safety is comprehensive on the Titanium trim, featuring a suite of airbags and advanced driver aids. Standard equipment includes Blind Spot Warning and Rear Cross Traffic Alert, which are essential for the fast-moving multi-lane highways of Dubai and Riyadh. It also includes Intelligent Forward Collision Warning and Emergency Braking, providing a proactive safety net for family transport.

The bottom line

For the GCC buyer seeking the prestige and space of a Patrol with sensible running costs and the best possible resale color, this SE Titanium is a perfectly timed opportunity. It is a reliable, high-spec workhorse that is ready for another decade of service across the Gulf.
