Summary

This 2023 Ferrari 812 GTS represents a rare opportunity to own the open-top evolution of Maranello's flagship V12 grand tourer with incredibly low mileage for its three-year age. Its classic black finish is a high-demand, stable resale choice in the GCC, perfectly complementing the car's aggressive yet elegant silhouette. As one of the final naturally aspirated V12 production models, it offers a visceral driving experience that rivals struggle to match in both sound and soul. For the GCC buyer, this specific GTS provides the prestige of a front-engined icon with the versatility of a retractable hardtop for evening drives. It stands as a pinnacle of performance and a solid long-term addition to any serious regional collection.

This Car vs Other 2023 812s

With just 7,026 km on the odometer, this vehicle has covered significantly less distance than the typical 20,000 km annual average seen in the GCC market. This low usage ensures the mechanical components and interior finishes remain in near-showroom condition. The black exterior is a perennial favorite in the UAE and wider region, ensuring it remains highly liquid and desirable compared to more niche or experimental colorways.

GTS vs Lower Trims

The GTS trim transforms the 812 experience by introducing a power-retractable hardtop that disappears in just 14 seconds, even while moving at low speeds. Unlike the fixed-roof Superfast, the GTS features a redesigned rear deck with two buttresses and an electric rear screen that doubles as a wind-stop, allowing you to enjoy the V12 soundtrack even with the roof closed. It also includes shorter transmission ratios for even more immediate acceleration response.

812 vs Segment Rivals

The 812 GTS leads its primary rivals, the Lamborghini Aventador S Roadster and Aston Martin DBS Volante, by offering a unique front-mid-engine layout that balances daily grand touring comfort with supercar levels of agility. Its naturally aspirated V12 provides a linear power delivery and a 8,900 rpm redline that turbocharged competitors cannot replicate. Furthermore, the 92-liter fuel tank offers superior range for long-distance cruising between cities like Dubai and Abu Dhabi.

Running Costs & Resale

Fuel consumption averages approximately 16.4 L/100km on the WLTP combined cycle, reflecting the high-performance nature of the 800 cv engine. While this is a European spec vehicle, it benefits from Ferrari’s extensive authorized service network across the GCC, including major centers in the UAE, Saudi Arabia, and Kuwait. Ferrari V12 models, particularly limited-production convertibles like the GTS, hold their value exceptionally well in the local market, typically depreciating at a lower rate than mid-engine equivalents.

Performance & Capability

The heart of this machine is the 6.5L V12, propelling the car to 100 km/h in a blistering 3.0 seconds and reaching 200 km/h in just 8.3 seconds. Equipped with Virtual Short Wheelbase 2.0 and electric power steering, it handles with a sharpness that belies its grand tourer dimensions. The 7-speed dual-clutch transmission delivers lightning-fast shifts, making highway overtaking and spirited weekend drives equally effortless.

Comfort & Cabin

The cabin is a driver-focused cockpit featuring premium leather and high-grade materials designed to withstand the GCC's high temperatures. The climate control system is engineered to maintain cabin coolness effectively, while the electric rear window can be adjusted to manage airflow during open-top driving. Despite being a supercar, it offers a refined interior with enough space for two passengers to travel comfortably on cross-emirate road trips.

Safety

This 812 GTS is equipped with a comprehensive safety suite including high-performance carbon-ceramic brakes for incredible stopping power and Ferrari’s Side Slip Angle Control (SSC) 6.0 to maintain stability. Standard features such as front and rear parking cameras, electronic stability control, and advanced traction management provide peace of mind on both high-speed highways and busy city streets. The rigid chassis was specifically reinforced for the GTS model to ensure safety and structural integrity remains equal to the coupe version.

The bottom line

For the enthusiast seeking the ultimate V12 open-air experience, this low-mileage 812 GTS is a premier choice that combines modern tech with one of the greatest naturally aspirated engines ever built.
