Summary

This 2023 Defender 110 SE P300 perfectly captures the balance between a rugged off-road icon and a modern luxury SUV, making it one of the most versatile vehicles in the GCC. With mileage just under 50,000 km, it sits at a prime stage for a used purchase, having bypassed the steepest initial depreciation while remaining mechanically fresh. The SE trim level adds critical premium features like the 700W Meridian sound system and high-spec LED lighting that casual buyers often overlook in lower grades. Built to master the transition from high-speed highway cruising to technical desert dunes, it remains a gold-standard choice for UAE residents who demand presence and capability. For a GCC buyer, this specific listing represents a reliable entry into the new-gen Defender family with a well-maintained regional specification.

This Car vs Other 2023 Defender 110s

At 49,999 km, this Defender’s mileage is exactly in line with typical GCC annual use of 20,000–25,000 km, indicating a balanced life of highway and urban driving rather than heavy commercial use. While the exterior color is a neutral choice, these tones are highly favored in the regional used market for their ability to maintain a clean appearance despite desert dust and heat. This combination of standard mileage and market-friendly aesthetics ensures strong liquidity and value retention at resale.

SE P300 vs Lower Trims

The SE trim is a significant step up from the base and S trims, most notably introducing the 700W Meridian Sound System with 14 speakers and a subwoofer, which is a major draw for GCC buyers. It also upgrades the exterior with 20-inch Style 5094 wheels and Premium LED headlights with Signature DRLs, providing a more commanding road presence. Inside, the SE gains memory settings for the front seats and upgraded cabin lighting, features that elevate the daily driving experience beyond the utility-focused entry models.

Defender 110 vs Segment Rivals

The Defender 110 leads rivals like the Jeep Wrangler Unlimited and Toyota Land Cruiser 300 in terms of technical wading depth and ground clearance adaptability. Its unibody D7x architecture offers superior on-road refinement and high-speed stability on UAE highways compared to traditional body-on-frame competitors. While the Patrol or Land Cruiser offer more traditional luxury, the Defender provides a unique blend of heritage design and cutting-edge Pivi Pro technology that appeals to a more design-conscious demographic.

Running Costs & Resale

The P300 powertrain offers a more efficient alternative to the larger V8 models, with a combined fuel consumption of approximately 11.5L/100km, which is manageable for a vehicle of this size in GCC stop-start traffic. Land Rover’s authorized service network is extensive across the UAE, Saudi Arabia, and Kuwait, ensuring specialized maintenance is never far away. The Defender 110 currently enjoys some of the strongest resale values in the luxury SUV segment, typically depreciating slower than European luxury sedans due to high local demand.

Performance & Capability

The 2.0L turbocharged engine delivers 300 hp and a robust 400 Nm of torque, enabling a 0–100 km/h sprint in 7.4 seconds, which is impressive for a 5-seater SUV. Its standout capability is the 900 mm wading depth and the Terrain Response system, which allows the driver to optimize the AWD system for sand, rocks, or mud at the touch of a button. On the highway, the 8-speed automatic transmission ensures smooth overtaking and comfortable long-distance travel between emirates.

Comfort & Cabin

The cabin is a masterclass in 'durable luxury,' featuring 12-way electric memory front seats and a highly effective dual-zone climate control system essential for the 45°C+ GCC summers. Rear passengers benefit from dedicated cooling vents and ample legroom, making it an excellent choice for family road trips. The Pivi Pro infotainment system is intuitive and responsive, paired with the Meridian audio system to provide a premium acoustic environment isolated from outside road and wind noise.

Safety

Standard safety on the SE trim includes a 3D Surround Camera system that is invaluable for both tight urban parking and technical off-roading. It features a full suite of ADAS including Lane Keep Assist, Blind Spot Assist, and Emergency Braking, providing peace of mind on fast-moving multi-lane highways. The vehicle is equipped with six airbags and a robust unibody construction that earned a 5-star Euro NCAP safety rating, ensuring maximum protection for all five occupants.

The bottom line

This Defender 110 SE is the ideal choice for a buyer who wants the prestige and capability of a modern Land Rover without the fuel overhead of a V8. It is a mechanically sound, mid-mileage example that offers the best of the SE's premium tech features at a competitive market price.
