• 291 mm maximum ground clearance
• 900 mm maximum wading depth

Summary

This 2023 Defender 110 X-DYNAMIC HSE P400 represents a strategic buying opportunity for GCC residents, pairing very low mileage for its age with the region’s most preferred resale color, White. The P400 mild-hybrid engine delivers a perfect balance for the local climate, providing effortless highway overtaking and high-torque performance for desert weekends without the heavy running costs of a V8. As an X-DYNAMIC HSE, it bridges the gap between rugged utility and high-end luxury, making it as suitable for professional arrivals at DIFC as it is for off-road excursions in Al Qudra. The European specification remains highly compatible with UAE service centers, offering a modern, tech-forward alternative to traditional Japanese rivals. For the buyer who values the iconic Defender silhouette with upgraded interior refinement, this listing stands out as a fresh, well-maintained asset.

This Car vs Other 2023 Defender 110s

With just 29,000 km, this vehicle has been driven significantly less than the typical 25,000 km annual average seen in the GCC market. While many 2023 models are now reaching the 50,000 km mark due to long-distance commutes between Emirates, this example remains in a prime, low-wear state. The White exterior is widely considered the strongest resale color in the Middle East, offering superior heat reflection and long-term value retention.

X-DYNAMIC HSE P400 vs Lower Trims

The X-DYNAMIC HSE trim adds high-demand luxury features not found on the standard S or SE models, most notably the 14-way heated and cooled Windsor leather memory seats which are essential for GCC summers. It also upgrades the cabin experience with the premium Meridian Surround Sound system and the larger 11.4-inch Pivi Pro touchscreen. Visually, this trim distinguishes itself with Satin Dark Grey exterior accents and more durable Resist interior materials designed for active lifestyles.

Defender 110 vs Segment Rivals

The Defender 110 leads competitors like the Toyota Land Cruiser 300 and Nissan Patrol in technical off-road geometry, offering a superior 900 mm wading depth and adjustable air suspension that exceeds their fixed ground clearance. While rivals often feel more agricultural inside, the Defender provides a monocoque refinement that handles fast-moving UAE highway traffic with significantly more poise. Its 3.0L mild-hybrid powertrain offers a more modern, efficient alternative to the thirstier V8 engines typically found in this segment.

Running Costs & Resale

Real-world fuel consumption for the P400 MHEV averages approximately 11.8 L/100km, which is highly competitive for a full-sized SUV in GCC stop-start traffic. The European specification is well-supported in the UAE, with numerous specialized service centers across Dubai and Abu Dhabi capable of maintaining the vehicle to factory standards. While European luxury SUVs traditionally see faster depreciation than Japanese icons, the Defender 110 has shown exceptional value retention in the local market due to its high demand and iconic status.

Performance & Capability

The P400 engine produces 395 hp, allowing this SUV to sprint from 0–100 km/h in just 6.1 seconds—performance that is particularly useful for merging onto fast highways like the E11. Its sophisticated Terrain Response 2 system includes a dedicated Sand mode, making it one of the most capable vehicles for exploring the UAE's dunes. The electronic air suspension allows the vehicle to lower for easier parking access in malls or raise to a maximum clearance of 291 mm to clear significant obstacles.

Comfort & Cabin

The five-seat cabin is designed for long-distance comfort, featuring dual-zone climate control with powerful cooling tailored for high-temperature environments. Acoustic glass helps insulate the interior from highway noise, while the panoramic sunroof adds a sense of space without compromising cabin temperature. Technology is a focal point, with a fully digital cockpit and 3D Surround Camera system that makes navigating tight urban parking spaces effortless.

Safety

Standard safety equipment on the HSE trim includes a comprehensive ADAS suite with Blind Spot Assist, which is vital for multi-lane highway driving in the region. It also features Lane Keep Assist, Adaptive Cruise Control for long desert drives, and Rear Traffic Monitor to protect against collisions in busy city areas. The vehicle’s ultra-rigid unibody construction is complemented by six airbags and Wade Sensing technology for added confidence during seasonal rain events.

The bottom line

This low-mileage Defender 110 X-DYNAMIC HSE is the ideal choice for a buyer who wants the premium features of a luxury SUV without sacrificing the legendary capability needed for weekend desert adventures.
