Summary

This 2023 Lexus LX600 Signature represents an exceptional buy in the GCC market, combining the legendary reliability of a body-on-frame flagship with the modern performance of a twin-turbo V6. With 71,000 km over 3 years, the mileage is perfectly in line with typical GCC highway use, and its White exterior ensures maximum resale strength in the region. Choosing the Signature trim means you benefit from the highest level of luxury available, including the world-class Mark Levinson audio system and ventilated seating for all major occupants. It stands out from rivals like the Range Rover for its significantly lower long-term maintenance costs and superior parts availability across the UAE and Saudi Arabia. For a GCC buyer, this provides the peace of mind of a vehicle built for extreme heat and long-distance desert crossings without sacrificing executive-level comfort.

This Car vs Other 2023 LX600s

At 71,000 km, this LX600's mileage is standard for a 3-year-old luxury SUV in the GCC, where annual averages typically reach 25,000 km due to frequent inter-emirate travel. The White exterior is the most sought-after color in the local used market, offering a distinct advantage in both cooling during summer and value retention at resale. It remains mechanically fresh, having likely spent most of its life on well-maintained regional highways.

SIGNATURE vs Lower Trims

The Signature trim is a significant step up from the base Prestige, adding a 25-speaker Mark Levinson Reference Surround Sound system that is widely considered the best in its class. It also upgrades the cabin with ventilated seats for both front and second-row passengers—a vital feature for the GCC climate—alongside larger 22-inch alloy wheels and a refrigerator in the center console. Unlike lower trims, the Signature also includes dual 11.4-inch rear entertainment screens to keep family passengers comfortable on long cross-border drives.

LX600 vs Segment Rivals

The LX600 leads its primary rival, the Range Rover, in terms of mechanical endurance and the sheer density of the Lexus service network across all GCC countries. While the Cadillac Escalade offers more sheer volume, the Lexus provides superior off-road hardware including a Torsen limited-slip center differential and Crawl Control, making it a more versatile tool for weekend desert excursions. Additionally, its 110-litre fuel tank provides a superior range for the long-distance drives common between cities like Dubai and Riyadh.

Running Costs & Resale

Real-world fuel consumption for the twin-turbo V6 typically averages around 12-14 L/100km, which is efficient for a vehicle of this size, though stop-start city traffic in Dubai or Riyadh will see this rise. Service intervals are typically every 10,000 km, and with the most extensive authorized service network in the region, maintenance is convenient from Kuwait to Oman. The LX600 boasts one of the lowest depreciation rates in the luxury segment, typically losing only 8-10% annually compared to 15% or more for European competitors.

Performance & Capability

The 3.5-litre twin-turbo V6 delivers a refined 409 hp and 650 Nm of torque, enabling a 0-100 km/h sprint in approximately 7 seconds, which is impressive for a 7-seat SUV. The 10-speed automatic transmission is tuned for smooth highway cruising, while the Multi-Terrain Select system allows the driver to optimize traction for sand, mud, or rock at the turn of a dial. With a braked towing capacity of up to 3,630 kg, it is more than capable of hauling large boats or trailers for weekend trips.

Comfort & Cabin

The cabin is a sanctuary from the GCC's extreme heat, featuring a high-output four-zone climate control system and semi-aniline leather seats that are both heated and ventilated. The 7-seat configuration is highly flexible, with power-folding third-row seats that stow flat to reveal more cargo space when needed. Acoustic glass and extensive sound insulation ensure the cabin remains quiet even at 120 km/h on the E11 highway, providing a true executive experience.

Safety

This Signature trim comes standard with Lexus Safety System+ 2.5, featuring Pre-Collision System with Pedestrian Detection and All-Speed Dynamic Radar Cruise Control, perfect for long highway stretches. It also includes 10 airbags, a 360-degree Panoramic View Monitor for easier parking in tight city spaces, and Blind Spot Monitoring. The Lane Tracing Assist and Road Sign Assist provide additional layers of protection for both urban commuting and cross-country expeditions.

The bottom line

For the buyer who wants the luxury of an executive sedan with the unstoppable durability of a desert-ready 4x4, this LX600 Signature is the definitive GCC choice. It is a rare opportunity to secure a high-spec, well-maintained flagship that will hold its value better than almost anything else on the road today.
