Summary

This 3-year-old Rolls-Royce Ghost Black Badge represents a unique opportunity to own a bespoke, high-performance executive sedan with a mileage of 58,000 km, which is highly competitive for the GCC market. The Black Badge trim is the choice for younger, driver-focused owners, adding significant power and a darker, more assertive aesthetic that commands high resale interest locally. Finished in white, it occupies one of the strongest resale color positions in the UAE and wider region. This model is engineered to master long-distance desert highway drives with unparalleled silence and stability, thanks to its specialized Planar suspension. For a GCC buyer, this specific listing balances the prestige of a modern Rolls-Royce with a trim level that retains value exceptionally well due to its high desirability.

This Car vs Other 2023 Ghosts

With 58,000 km on the odometer, this Ghost has been driven approximately 19,000 km per year, which is well below the typical GCC average of 20,000–25,000 km. Its white exterior is the most preferred color in the local used market, ensuring faster turnover and better price retention than darker alternatives. Finding a Black Badge in this condition offers a significant mechanical and aesthetic advantage over standard Series II models.

BLACK BADGE vs Lower Trims

The Black Badge trim is far more than a visual package; it increases the V12's output to 600 hp and 900 Nm of torque while adding a sport-tuned air suspension and a more responsive 8-speed gearbox. Inside, it features the exclusive Technical Fibre weave and blacked-out chrome brightwork, which are highly sought after by UAE buyers. It also includes 21-inch carbon composite wheels and a more vocal exhaust system not found on the base Ghost.

Ghost vs Segment Rivals

When compared to the Bentley Flying Spur or the Mercedes-Maybach S-Class, the Ghost leads with its 'Architecture of Luxury' all-aluminum spaceframe, which provides a quieter cabin during high-speed highway cruising between emirates. Its Planar suspension system, featuring a world-first upper wishbone damper, offers a ride quality that remains the benchmark for the luxury sedan segment. The Ghost also provides a more bespoke, hand-assembled feel that production-line rivals cannot match.

Running Costs & Resale

The Ghost Black Badge typically experiences a depreciation rate of approximately 12–15% annually in the GCC, performing strongly against other European luxury marques. Real-world fuel consumption averages around 15.8 L/100km, which is efficient for a V12 during long-distance highway travel at 140 km/h. Authorized service centers are well-established across the UAE and Saudi Arabia, with major service intervals recommended every 15,000 km to maintain the vehicle's integrity.

Performance & Capability

Powered by a hand-assembled 6.75L twin-turbo V12, this sedan delivers 600 hp and an immense 900 Nm of torque, enabling a 0–100 km/h sprint in just 4.7 seconds. The all-wheel-drive system and all-wheel steering provide surprising agility and confidence during fast lane changes on the E11 or navigating tight urban parking. Its satellite-aided transmission uses GPS data to pre-select the ideal gear for upcoming terrain, ensuring a seamless flow of power at all times.

Comfort & Cabin

The interior is a sanctuary featuring the iconic Starlight Headliner and ventilated, massaging seats that are essential for the GCC summer. Acoustic laminated glass and over 100kg of soundproofing materials ensure the cabin remains eerily quiet even at high speeds. The four-zone climate control is specifically engineered to handle extreme desert heat, maintaining a perfect ambient temperature for all five passengers.

Safety

Safety is paramount with a full suite of advanced driver assistance systems, including night vision with pedestrian and wildlife detection—critical for rural desert roads. The car features a high-resolution 360-degree camera system, adaptive cruise control, and a head-up display that keeps vital information in the driver's line of sight. Active roll stabilization and all-wheel steering work together to ensure the vehicle remains poised and safe during emergency maneuvers.

The bottom line

This Ghost Black Badge is the ideal choice for a buyer seeking the ultimate blend of modern Rolls-Royce luxury and assertive performance, presented in the region's most desirable resale color.
