Summary

This 2024 INEOS Grenadier is a purpose-built 4x4 that bridges the gap between old-school mechanical durability and modern BMW-engineered refinement. With 50,000 km over 2 years, its mileage is exactly in line with the high-use GCC annual average of 25,000 km, reflecting a vehicle that has been correctly exercised on the region's vast highway network. The Beige exterior is a highly desirable, heat-reflective choice that holds its value exceptionally well in the local resale market. For a GCC buyer, the standard trim offers a pure, hose-out utility experience that rivals like the modern Defender have largely moved away from. This is a rare opportunity to own a nearly-new, regional-spec example of a vehicle designed specifically for the extreme demands of desert overlanding.

This Car vs Other 2024 Grenadiers

At 50,000 km, this vehicle sits at the standard expected mileage for a 2-year-old car in the GCC market, where long-distance travel between emirates is routine. Unlike many utility vehicles that spend their lives in city traffic, this mileage suggests a healthy balance of highway and open-road use. The Beige paint is not only iconic for the model but remains the top-performing resale color in the region due to its superior thermal properties.

STANDARD vs Lower Trims

As the foundational trim, the Standard focuses on mechanical purity while still including the high-resolution 12.3-inch touchscreen and the heavy-duty 8-speed ZF automatic transmission. It avoids the electronic complexities of higher trims, offering the robust cloth Recaro seats that are often preferred for their breathability in the peak GCC summer heat compared to leather alternatives.

Grenadier vs Segment Rivals

While the Toyota Land Cruiser 70-series offers legendary reliability, the Grenadier provides significantly more modern cabin tech and a 3,500 kg towing capacity that outclasses many in its bracket. Compared to the Land Rover Defender, the Grenadier uses a traditional ladder-frame chassis and solid beam axles, offering the structural durability required for serious desert dune bashing and heavy overlanding.

Running Costs & Resale

Real-world fuel consumption for the BMW-sourced 3.0L inline-six averages approximately 14–15 L/100km, making it a predictable performer for long-range GCC expeditions. Service intervals are recommended every 12,000 km or 12 months, with an authorized service network expanding rapidly across the UAE and Saudi Arabia. The model is currently showing strong value retention due to its niche appeal and the global waiting lists for new units.

Performance & Capability

The 282 hp turbocharged engine delivers 450 Nm of torque at low RPM, essential for maintaining momentum in deep sand. It features a permanent four-wheel-drive system with a lockable center differential and a dedicated two-speed transfer case for low-range crawling. With a 31.5-inch wading depth and heavy-duty coil suspension, it is engineered to tackle the most remote wadis and desert trails in the region.

Comfort & Cabin

The 5-seat cabin is designed with physical switches and an overhead control panel that can be operated with gloves, ensuring tactile reliability. The air conditioning system is specifically tuned for high-ambient temperatures, providing rapid cabin cooling even in 45-degree heat. Rear passengers benefit from dedicated cooling vents and ample legroom for long cross-border journeys.

Safety

Safety is managed through a comprehensive suite including front, side, and curtain airbags as standard. The vehicle features advanced stability control and downhill assist systems that are specifically calibrated for gravel and loose sand surfaces common in the UAE. Its heavy-duty steel body-on-frame construction provides a level of passive safety and occupant protection that matches its rugged exterior mission.

The bottom line

For the enthusiast who needs a genuine expedition tool that is still under warranty and perfectly suited for the GCC climate, this Beige Grenadier is the ideal balance of use and value.
