Summary

This 2024 Nissan Patrol XE offers the ultimate entry into the legendary Y62 generation, a model deeply woven into the cultural fabric of the GCC. With its crisp white exterior, it holds a significant advantage in the local used market, as white remains the strongest color for heat reflection and long-term resale value. The 4.0L V6 engine provides a reliable and fuel-efficient alternative to the V8, ideal for those who prioritize range and lower running costs without sacrificing the Patrol's imposing road presence. As the final year of the current generation, this listing represents a proven platform with high reliability and parts availability across the region. It is the definitive choice for families needing massive space and the peace of mind that comes with Nissan's vast regional service footprint.

This Car vs Other 2024 Patrols

With approximately 65,779 km, this Patrol has been driven slightly above the GCC annual average, reflecting the typical highway-heavy usage of a family workhorse in this region. While the mileage is active, the white exterior is the most sought-after color for resale in the UAE and Saudi markets, ensuring it will depreciate slower than darker alternatives. For a 2024 model, this vehicle offers a nearly-new experience on a mechanically perfected platform.

XE vs Lower Trims

As the foundational XE trim, this vehicle focuses on pure utility and durability, though it still includes essential GCC comforts like dual-zone automatic climate control and a rear cooler. It features the rugged black cloth upholstery that handles desert sand and family use better than delicate leather, and 18-inch alloy wheels that offer a more comfortable ride over rougher terrain compared to the larger wheels found on higher trims.

Patrol vs Segment Rivals

The Nissan Patrol leads its primary rival, the Toyota Land Cruiser, in sheer interior volume and third-row accessibility, making it the preferred choice for large GCC families. Its massive 140-litre fuel tank provides a significant range advantage over the Ford Expedition for long cross-border drives between Emirates. Additionally, the Patrol’s reputation for air conditioning performance in 45°C+ heat is widely regarded as the benchmark for the segment.

Running Costs & Resale

The 4.0L V6 powertrain offers a combined fuel consumption of approximately 11.8 L/100km, making it a more economical daily driver for city traffic in Dubai or Riyadh than the V8 variants. Service intervals are typically every 10,000 km, supported by one of the densest authorized service networks across all GCC countries. The Patrol historically retains approximately 60-70% of its value after three years, one of the highest retention rates in the global automotive market.

Performance & Capability

The V6 engine produces 275 hp and 394 Nm of torque, delivering smooth power through a 7-speed automatic transmission that is well-suited for high-speed highway cruising. With a standard low-range transfer case and a minimum ground clearance of 244 mm, this XE is fully equipped for weekend desert excursions. It maintains a stable and composed ride even when fully loaded with eight passengers, thanks to its heavy-duty independent suspension.

Comfort & Cabin

The cabin is configured for eight passengers, featuring a high-capacity air conditioning system with dedicated vents for all three rows to combat extreme summer temperatures. A front cooled centre console (cool box) is included, a must-have for keeping drinks cold during long desert highway stretches. Acoustic insulation is excellent, ensuring a quiet environment even during the fast-paced driving typical of UAE motorways.

Safety

Standard safety equipment includes dual front, side, and curtain airbags to protect all three rows of passengers. It is equipped with essential driver aids for GCC roads, such as Cruise Control for long highway stretches and Hill Start Assist and Descent Control for navigating steep dunes or mountain passes. The inclusion of front and rear parking sensors as standard makes maneuvering this large SUV in tight city spaces significantly easier.

The bottom line

For the GCC buyer seeking the legendary reliability and space of a Patrol without the premium cost of a V8, this 2024 XE in resale-ready white is a smart, high-utility investment.
