Summary

This 2024 Nissan Patrol NISMO represents the final chapter of the legendary naturally aspirated V8 era in the GCC, making it a highly significant acquisition for performance enthusiasts. Dressed in timeless black, this model enjoys peak resale demand in the UAE and Saudi markets where the NISMO badge carries immense prestige. With just over 59,000 km, it has been driven at a typical regional pace for a premium SUV, ensuring the hand-assembled engine is well-settled for its next owner. While the standard Patrol is a family icon, the NISMO adds track-inspired suspension and aerodynamics that transform it into the region’s sharpest-handling full-size SUV. For the buyer who demands the presence of a Patrol with the soul of a sports car, this GCC-spec example offers the perfect balance of rarity and daily usability.

This Car vs Other 2024 Patrols

With 59,202 km, this Patrol has covered an average distance typical for a high-performance daily driver in the GCC, where long-range highway commutes are standard. Black exterior paint is one of the top three colors for resale retention in the UAE, ensuring it stays desirable even as newer generations arrive. Unlike many imports, this is a genuine GCC-spec vehicle, fully optimized for the extreme summer heat and backed by a robust local service network.

NISMO vs Lower Trims

The NISMO sits above the LE Platinum City, replacing the standard suspension with Bilstein shock absorbers for significantly flatter cornering. It adds 28 hp to the 5.6L V8 through a Takumi-tuned exhaust and ECU, while the interior is upgraded with Alcantara-wrapped steering and red-stitched sport seats. You also get 22-inch forged RAYS wheels and a unique 'F1-inspired' rear fog light that are exclusive to this flagship trim.

Patrol vs Segment Rivals

Compared to the Toyota Land Cruiser 300-series, the Patrol NISMO leads in road-biased handling and cabin tech, offering a more driver-centric experience. Its 140-litre dual fuel tank system provides superior range for long desert highway drives across the Emirates or into Oman. While rivals have transitioned to smaller turbocharged engines, the Patrol's 5.6L V8 offers a linear power delivery and acoustic character that remains a benchmark in the segment.

Running Costs & Resale

Real-world fuel consumption for the 5.6L V8 typically averages between 16–18 L/100 km in mixed GCC driving, reflecting its high-output performance. Nissan's authorized service network is among the most extensive in the region, with maintenance usually required every 10,000 km or 6 months. Historically, the Patrol NISMO retains roughly 60-70% of its value after three years in the UAE market, outperforming almost all European luxury SUV rivals.

Performance & Capability

The heart of this SUV is its hand-assembled V8, delivering 428 hp and a 0–100 km/h time of just 6.5 seconds, which is remarkable for a vehicle of this size. While it retains a permanent four-wheel-drive system, the NISMO trim is lowered by 15mm to enhance high-speed stability on the E11 and E311 highways. The aerodynamic kit, including the signature red-lined bumper and functional side ducts, isn't just for show—it provides genuine downforce for improved front-end grip at speed.

Comfort & Cabin

The cabin features a premium 8-seat layout with multi-zone climate control designed to reach 22°C even when outside temperatures exceed 45°C. Front occupants enjoy ventilated seats and a cooled center console, while the 13-speaker Bose audio system provides studio-quality sound insulation. Rear passengers are treated to dual 8-inch entertainment screens, making it an ideal choice for long family trips between Dubai and Riyadh.

Safety

Safety is managed by a full ADAS suite, including Intelligent Emergency Braking with pedestrian detection and Lane Intervention, which are essential for fast-moving GCC highway traffic. The 360° Around View Monitor makes parking this large SUV effortless in tight urban spaces. Standard features also include Blind Spot Warning and Rear Cross Traffic Alert, ensuring comprehensive protection for all eight passengers.

The bottom line

This is a rare opportunity to own a late-model V8 NISMO in the region's favorite color, offering the ultimate blend of GCC prestige, reliability, and visceral performance.
