Tesla Model 3 PERFORMANCE

Highlights

• 0–100 km/h in 3.1 seconds
• 528 km electric range (WLTP)
• 250 kW peak DC charging

Summary

This dual-motor Performance edition represents the pinnacle of the 2024 refreshed model, offering supercar acceleration in a practical five-seat sedan. For a two-year-old vehicle in the GCC, the mileage reflects consistent highway use, which is typical for Tesla owners utilizing the expanding regional Supercharger network. The Pearl White Multi-Coat exterior remains the strongest resale color in the UAE and wider Gulf market due to its heat-reflective properties and enduring popularity. As a range-topping trim, it features the significant 'Highland' updates including improved acoustic glass and a more refined suspension tuned for high-speed stability. This is a compelling option for those seeking the latest tech and performance without the immediate depreciation of a showroom-fresh delivery.

This Car vs Other 2024 Model 3s

At 88,000 km, this vehicle has been driven more than the typical GCC average for a two-year-old car, likely serving as a primary commuter between emirates. However, the Pearl White exterior is a significant advantage, as it is the most sought-after color for resale in the local market. The higher mileage is offset by the fact that this is the updated 2024 redesign, which commands a premium over older body styles.

PERFORMANCE vs Lower Trims

The Performance trim adds specialized hardware that the Rear-Wheel Drive and Long Range models lack, including adaptive damping suspension and larger performance brakes. Inside, you get dedicated sport seats with enhanced bolsters and a carbon fiber dash inlay that distinguishes it from the standard cabin. It also features a unique Track Mode V3 software suite, allowing drivers to customize handling balance and regenerative braking for spirited driving.

Model 3 vs Segment Rivals

When compared to the BMW i4 or Polestar 2, the Model 3 Performance leads significantly in raw acceleration and charging infrastructure access via the Tesla Supercharger network. It offers a more tech-focused cabin experience with its 15.4-inch central display and integrated rear-seat entertainment screen, which is absent in many entry-level premium rivals. The minimalist interior design and superior software integration remain its primary advantages in the luxury EV segment.

Running Costs & Resale

Real-world efficiency typically averages around 16.7 kWh/100km, offering substantial savings over petrol rivals in stop-start city traffic in Dubai or Riyadh. Tesla's authorized service centers are well-established in major GCC hubs like Dubai, Abu Dhabi, and Jeddah, with minimal maintenance required beyond tires and cabin filters. While premium EVs experience initial depreciation, the 2024 refresh retains value better than earlier models due to improved build quality and the Pearl White color's strong local demand.

Performance & Capability

With a 0–100 km/h time of just 3.1 seconds, this sedan provides effortless highway overtaking and instant torque for city driving. The all-wheel-drive system ensures maximum grip on sand-dusted roads, while the top speed is officially rated at 262 km/h. Despite the focus on speed, the adaptive suspension provides a compliant ride that handles the transition from smooth highways to uneven urban streets with ease.

Comfort & Cabin

The 2024 redesign introduced ventilated front seats as standard, a critical feature for the intense GCC summer heat. Passengers in the rear benefit from a dedicated 8-inch touchscreen to control climate and entertainment, plus improved acoustic glazing that significantly reduces wind noise during long desert drives. The 17-speaker premium audio system provides an immersive listening experience, further enhanced by the cabin's whisper-quiet electric operation.

Safety

Tesla's full ADAS suite is standard, including Autopilot features like emergency braking and blind-spot monitoring that are invaluable on fast-moving multi-lane highways. The vehicle is built with a reinforced battery pack and a low center of gravity, which provides exceptional rollover protection. Additionally, the Sentry Mode system provides 360-degree surveillance, offering peace of mind when parked in busy urban environments.

The bottom line

For the performance-oriented buyer in the GCC, this 2024 Model 3 offers the latest Tesla technology and blistering speed in the region's most popular resale color. It is a smart buy for a driver who prioritizes cabin tech and cooling performance in a modern, high-output EV.
