Summary

This 2024 Land Cruiser GXR combines legendary off-road reliability with the rare, high-torque 3.3L twin-turbo diesel engine, making it a standout choice for those prioritizing range and towing power. With only 777 km on the clock, this GCC-spec white SUV is effectively brand new, offering a significant advantage in both condition and long-term resale value within the region. The GXR trim strikes the perfect balance for the UAE market, providing essential desert-conquering hardware alongside a refined seven-seat interior. Whether you are navigating stop-start city traffic or embarking on a cross-border expedition, the 302 hp diesel powertrain delivers effortless performance with superior fuel efficiency compared to its petrol counterparts.

This Car vs Other 2024 Land Cruisers

With just 777 km, this vehicle sits in the lowest mileage bracket for 2024 models in the GCC, offering a 'wrapper-fresh' experience without the initial showroom depreciation. The white exterior is the most sought-after color in the regional used market, ensuring faster liquidly and higher value retention compared to darker shades. As a GCC-spec diesel, it offers a unique ownership proposition of extreme range and durability that is increasingly hard to find in such pristine condition.

GXR vs Lower Trims

The GXR trim provides a significant leap over the base EXR, adding premium touches like a powered tailgate and upgraded alloy wheels that GCC buyers expect. Inside, it features an enhanced infotainment experience and a more refined cabin finish, ensuring a more premium feel during daily commutes. Crucially, the GXR retains the heavy-duty cooling and off-road hardware required for serious desert use, which lower trims often lack.

Land Cruiser vs Segment Rivals

Compared to rivals like the Nissan Patrol or Land Rover Defender, the Land Cruiser 300 leads with its specialized 3.3L diesel torque and legendary serviceability across the entire GCC. Its 110-litre dual-tank system offers a cruising range that few competitors can match on long-distance desert highway drives between emirates. While rivals may focus on on-road tech, the Toyota remains the segment leader for body-on-frame durability and ease of maintenance in remote areas.

Running Costs & Resale

The 3.3L diesel powertrain is exceptionally efficient for its size, achieving approximately 8.9L/100km on combined cycles, which drastically reduces the cost of frequent long-distance travel. Toyota enjoys the strongest resale value in the GCC market, with the LC300 typically retaining over 85% of its value after three years. Authorized service centers are ubiquitous across the UAE, Saudi Arabia, and Oman, ensuring parts are always available and maintenance is straightforward.

Performance & Capability

The 700 Nm of peak torque is available from just 1,600 rpm, providing immediate overtaking power on the highway and immense low-end grunt for sand dune climbing. The 10-speed automatic transmission ensures the engine stays in its optimal power band while maintaining a quiet, low-RPM cruise at 120 km/h. Equipped with a selectable Multi-Terrain Select system and 235 mm of ground clearance, it is purpose-built to handle the most demanding GCC terrains with ease.

Comfort & Cabin

The seven-seat layout is designed for family logistics, featuring a versatile third row and a powerful tri-zone climate control system engineered for 50 degree Celsius summers. The GXR cabin includes a cooled center console to keep beverages chilled during long drives and high-quality insulation to keep road noise at bay. Large windows and a high seating position provide excellent visibility for navigating both busy city streets and tight off-road trails.

Safety

Safety is managed by a comprehensive suite including Toyota Safety Sense, which provides adaptive cruise control and lane departure alerts for safer highway cruising. The vehicle features multiple airbags, Crawl Control for stable descents, and advanced traction management to ensure stability on loose gravel or sand. These active systems work together to provide peace of mind for families traveling at high speeds on the UAE's multi-lane road networks.

The bottom line

This is an ideal opportunity for a buyer seeking the ultimate long-range desert workhorse in essentially brand-new condition with the most favorable resale spec available in the GCC.
