Summary

This 2025 Ford Mustang Premium offers a near-new ownership experience with just 10,500 km, making it a rare find for a one-year-old car in the GCC. The Premium trim is highly sought after in the UAE market for its ventilated seats and upgraded technology, providing a cooler and more connected drive during peak summer. As an American spec convertible, it delivers the iconic open-top muscle car experience at a more efficient price point than GCC-spec V8 equivalents. Black is a universally strong resale color in the regional market, and this EcoBoost variant balances spirited performance with lower daily running costs than the GT.

This Car vs Other 2025 Mustangs

With just 10,500 km on the odometer, this vehicle has significantly lower mileage than the typical 20,000–25,000 km annual average seen across the UAE. The black exterior remains a top-tier choice for resale value in the GCC, and as a 1-year-old model, it captures the latest S650 generation technology while avoiding the initial steep depreciation of a brand-new showroom car.

PREMIUM vs Lower Trims

The Premium trim adds essential GCC features that the base EcoBoost lacks, most notably the ventilated and heated power-adjustable front seats for year-round comfort. It also upgrades the cabin experience with a 9-speaker premium audio system, wireless smartphone charging, and customizable ambient lighting, which significantly enhances the interior feel during nighttime city cruises.

Mustang vs Segment Rivals

Compared to rivals like the Chevrolet Camaro or the BMW 4 Series Convertible, the Mustang leads with its high-resolution 13.2-inch SYNC 4 touchscreen and 12.4-inch digital instrument cluster. Its 2.3L turbocharged engine provides a superior balance of power-to-efficiency, offering more torque than many entry-level European four-cylinder competitors for better highway overtaking.

Running Costs & Resale

Real-world fuel consumption typically settles around 10.8 L/100km in stop-and-go Dubai traffic, dropping to approximately 7.8 L/100km on long highway stretches like the E11. As an American spec vehicle, it is compatible with standard regional parts, though buyers should note that local agency service plans may differ from GCC-spec cars. The EcoBoost engine generally retains its value well in the UAE as a cost-effective alternative to the 5.0L V8.

Performance & Capability

The turbocharged 2.3L engine delivers 324 hp, propelling this convertible from 0–100 km/h in just 5.1 seconds, which is competitive with many sports sedans. The 10-speed automatic transmission is optimized for smooth shifts during relaxed beach road drives while offering sharp response in Sport mode. The rear-wheel-drive platform provides the classic Mustang agility, making it a joy to drive on the well-maintained curved roads of Jebel Jais.

Comfort & Cabin

Inside, the S650 generation features a jet-fighter inspired cockpit with dual curved displays that are easily readable even in direct sunlight. The dual-zone automatic climate control is powerful enough for GCC summers, and the ActiveX synthetic leather seats are durable and easy to maintain. The electronic-locking center console is a thoughtful addition for convertible owners, providing secure storage when the top is down.

Safety

Safety is managed by the Ford Co-Pilot360 suite, which includes Blind Spot Monitoring with Cross-Traffic Alert—a vital feature for multi-lane UAE highways. Standard features also include Lane-Keeping Assist, Pre-Collision Assist with Automatic Emergency Braking, and rear parking sensors with a high-definition camera to aid in tight city parking. The active anti-theft system and peripheral alarm are standard on the convertible trim for added security.

The bottom line

Perfect for the young professional or enthusiast looking for a high-tech, low-mileage convertible that handles the UAE summer with ease. This 2025 Premium trim offers the best of the new generation's features at a competitive value.
