Summary

This 2025 Ford Taurus Trend is a standout option in the GCC market, offering a near-new driving experience with mileage significantly below the regional yearly average. The Trend trim is widely considered the best value-for-money choice, providing premium tech like the oversized 13.2-inch SYNC 4 screen without the flagship price tag. Its Blue exterior is a sophisticated choice that maintains strong appeal in the local market, while the 2.0L EcoBoost engine ensures effortless overtaking on high-speed highways like the E11. As a GCC-spec model, this vehicle is specifically engineered with enhanced cooling systems to handle the extreme summer temperatures of the UAE and Saudi Arabia.

This Car vs Other 2025 Ford Tauruses

With just 13,745 km on the odometer, this Taurus sits well below the typical 20,000–25,000 km annual average for GCC-based sedans. While many listings for this model year are fleet-sourced with higher usage, this example presents a near-showroom opportunity. The Blue finish is a classic, high-demand choice in the region, ensuring it holds its value better than more niche colors at resale.

Trend vs Lower Trims

The Trend trim is a major step up from the base Ambiente, most notably adding a power sunroof and a high-definition rearview camera. Inside, it replaces standard fabric with a more durable premium upholstery and adds an 8-way power-adjustable driver seat for improved long-distance comfort. These upgrades are highly valued by GCC buyers who prioritize cabin tech and seating ergonomics during daily commutes.

Taurus vs Segment Rivals

Compared to the Toyota Avalon or Nissan Maxima, the Taurus leads with its massive 13.2-inch digital interface and modern turbocharged torque, which provides punchier low-end power for city driving. Its 66-litre fuel tank is specifically optimized for long-distance cruising between emirates, offering a superior range to many naturally aspirated competitors. The cabin is also noted for having more generous rear legroom, making it the preferred choice for family logistics.

Running Costs & Resale

The 2.0L EcoBoost engine delivers a respectable 6.5 L/100km on the highway, though GCC stop-start traffic typically sees city figures closer to 9.5 KM/L. Maintenance is straightforward with a massive authorized service network across the UAE, Saudi Arabia, and Kuwait, typically requiring intervals every 10,000 km. The Taurus enjoys strong value retention in the GCC, generally depreciating at a slower rate than its European executive counterparts.

Performance & Capability

Powered by a 2.0L turbocharged 4-cylinder, this sedan produces 240 hp and a robust 382 Nm of torque, enabling a 0–100 km/h sprint in approximately 8.1 seconds. The 8-speed automatic transmission is tuned for the region's high-speed limits, keeping RPMs low during 120 km/h highway cruising for a quieter cabin. Drivers can toggle between Normal, Eco, and Sport modes to adjust steering weight and throttle response based on road conditions.

Comfort & Cabin

The interior is dominated by a class-leading 13.2-inch SYNC 4 touchscreen that supports wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Designed for the GCC climate, the dual-zone automatic climate control is exceptionally powerful, supplemented by dedicated rear cooling vents to keep all five passengers comfortable in 45°C+ heat. The acoustic windshield and thick door seals provide excellent insulation from road noise and desert wind during long drives.

Safety

Standard safety equipment on the Trend trim includes six airbags, a driver knee airbag, and a comprehensive ADAS suite featuring Lane Keeping Assist and Blind Spot Monitoring. The Pre-Collision Assist with Automatic Emergency Braking is particularly useful on fast-moving GCC highways, providing an extra layer of protection against sudden traffic stops. Stability control and a high-strength steel chassis contribute to its top-tier safety reputation in the regional market.

The bottom line

This listing is ideal for a professional or family seeking a 2025 model that feels brand new but avoids the initial showroom price hike. Its low mileage and GCC-spec cooling make it a low-risk, high-reward acquisition for the local market.
