Summary

This 2025 Ford Taurus Trend is an exceptional find in the GCC market, offering a nearly-new ownership experience with just 5,019 km on the odometer. As a Trend trim, it provides a meaningful jump in daily comfort over the base model, including essential dual-zone cooling and upgraded interior materials that handle the regional heat with ease. The black exterior remains a top-tier choice for resale value in the UAE and Saudi Arabia, ensuring strong demand when you eventually decide to upgrade. For the executive commuter or a small family, this Taurus stands out by offering significantly more rear legroom and trunk capacity than its direct Japanese rivals. It represents a smart opportunity to skip the initial depreciation of a showroom-fresh car while retaining the full benefits of a current-model-year vehicle.

This Car vs Other 2025 Ford Tauruses

With only 5,019 km, this vehicle is in the lowest percentile of mileage for the 2025 model year in the GCC. While average annual use for a sedan in this region typically reaches 20,000 km, this car offers the mechanical freshness of a showroom model. The black finish is one of the most desirable colors in the local used market, consistently supporting higher resale prices compared to niche shades.

Trend vs Lower Trims

The Trend trim adds several features that are critical for GCC comfort, most notably the dual-zone automatic climate control which allows the driver and passenger to set independent temperatures. It also replaces the base fabric seating with more durable and premium-feel materials, and includes an upgraded power-adjustable driver’s seat. These additions significantly improve the cabin experience during long highway drives across the Emirates.

Taurus vs Segment Rivals

The Ford Taurus leads its primary competitors, the Toyota Camry and Honda Accord, in both raw engine output and internal dimensions. With a 520-litre boot, it offers substantially more cargo space than the Camry's 427-litre capacity, making it the superior choice for family road trips. Its long wheelbase also provides class-leading rear legroom that rivals cars from the segment above.

Running Costs & Resale

Real-world fuel consumption for the 2.0L EcoBoost engine averages around 6.5 L/100km on the highway, making it an efficient long-distance cruiser. Ford’s extensive authorized service network across the UAE, Saudi Arabia, and Kuwait ensures parts are readily available and maintenance is straightforward. In the GCC market, the Taurus maintains a competitive depreciation rate of approximately 12-15% annually, holding its value better than many European executive sedans.

Performance & Capability

The 240 hp EcoBoost engine delivers 390 Nm of torque, providing effortless acceleration for high-speed highway overtaking common on GCC roads. Paired with an 8-speed automatic transmission, the powertrain is tuned for smooth delivery and refined cruising at the 140 km/h limit. Selectable drive modes—Normal, Eco, and Sport—allow you to adjust the steering and throttle response to suit city traffic or open desert highways.

Comfort & Cabin

The cabin is designed to be a sanctuary from the heat, featuring a high-performance air conditioning system and rear vents as standard. The Trend trim features a massive 13.2-inch multimedia touchscreen alongside an 8-inch digital productivity screen for the driver. Acoustic glass and enhanced insulation keep the interior remarkably quiet, filtering out wind and road noise during extended journeys between cities.

Safety

The 2025 Taurus comes equipped with a comprehensive safety suite, including six airbags and the Ford Co-Pilot360 platform. This includes a Rearview Camera, Rear Parking Sensors, and Electronic Stability Control, which are vital for navigating tight urban parking and maintaining composure on sand-dusted roads. It also features a Driver Impairment Monitor and Lane Keeping Aid to enhance safety during late-night highway commutes.

The bottom line

For the buyer who wants a current-model executive sedan without the first-year price tag, this low-mileage Trend trim offers the perfect balance of technology, space, and GCC-ready comfort.
