Summary

This 2025 Defender 110 X-DYNAMIC HSE P400 represents a strategic buy in the GCC market, offering the high-output P400 mild-hybrid engine with very low mileage for its year. The Black exterior is a high-demand resale color across the region, ensuring better value retention compared to niche shades. As an X-DYNAMIC HSE, this trim bridges the gap between rugged utility and Range Rover-level luxury, featuring the premium interior upgrades that GCC buyers prioritize. It stands out in its segment by offering genuine desert-crossing capability without the compromised road manners of traditional body-on-frame rivals. For a buyer in the UAE or Saudi Arabia, this is a nearly-new opportunity to secure the most desirable 110 configuration while bypassing the initial depreciation of a showroom-fresh unit.

This Car vs Other 2025 Defender 110s

With just 17,000 km, this vehicle sits well below the typical GCC annual average of 25,000 km, making it a low-mileage standout for a 2025 model. The Black-on-Black configuration is a major advantage for local resale, consistently moving faster in the pre-owned market than lighter or non-metallic colors. Choosing a 2025 model year ensures you have the latest Pivi Pro software updates and mechanical refinements standard from the factory.

X-DYNAMIC HSE P400 vs Lower Trims

The X-DYNAMIC HSE trim adds critical luxury features that the base S or SE trims lack, most notably the 14-way heated and cooled Windsor leather seats which are essential for the GCC summer. You also benefit from the Meridian Surround Sound System and the Extended Leather Upgrade, providing a more refined cabin feel. Visually, the X-DYNAMIC package provides the Gloss Black exterior accents and Satin Dark Grey wheels that give the car its signature aggressive stance.

Defender 110 vs Segment Rivals

While the Toyota Land Cruiser 300 and Nissan Patrol are the traditional GCC heavyweights, the Defender 110 leads in on-road refinement and high-speed highway stability thanks to its advanced monocoque architecture. Its 900 mm wading depth and superior approach angles often outperform the Mercedes-Benz G-Class in technical off-roading scenarios. The P400 hybrid powertrain also offers a more responsive, modern driving character than the naturally aspirated V8s found in older-gen competitors.

Running Costs & Resale

The P400 mild-hybrid system improves efficiency in stop-start traffic in cities like Dubai and Riyadh, while the 90-litre fuel tank provides the range needed for long-distance cross-border drives. Authorized service centers are widely available through Al Tayer and Mohamed Yousuf Naghi across the UAE and Saudi Arabia, ensuring maintenance remains straightforward. The Defender 110 currently holds the strongest resale value of any model in the Land Rover lineup, typically retaining over 70% of its value after three years in the GCC.

Performance & Capability

Powered by the 400 hp 3.0L inline-six, this Defender hits 100 km/h in a verified 5.8 seconds, providing effortless overtaking power on fast-moving UAE highways. The standard Electronic Air Suspension allows the vehicle to raise for 290 mm of ground clearance, making it as capable in the dunes of Liwa as it is comfortable on Sheikh Zayed Road. The Terrain Response 2 system automatically adjusts the All-Wheel Drive system to match GCC-specific conditions like deep sand or loose gravel.

Comfort & Cabin

The cabin is specifically equipped for the regional climate, featuring three-zone climate control with dedicated rear vents and ventilated front seats. The 11.4-inch Pivi Pro touchscreen is intuitive and responsive, paired with a digital cockpit that keeps navigation clear during long desert drives. High-quality acoustic glass helps isolate the interior from both the intense exterior heat and road noise, maintaining a premium environment for all five passengers.

Safety

Standard safety tech on this trim includes a 3D Surround Camera with ClearSight Ground View, which is invaluable for both tight mall parking and navigating rocky terrain. The full ADAS suite provides Adaptive Cruise Control and Blind Spot Assist, crucial for safety on high-speed multi-lane motorways. Emergency Braking and Lane Keep Assist are also standard, contributing to the model's 5-star Euro NCAP safety rating.

The bottom line

For the executive who demands weekend desert capability without sacrificing weekday luxury, this low-mileage 2025 X-DYNAMIC HSE is the market's most balanced and resale-ready choice.
