Summary

This 2025 Defender 90 S P300 offers the perfect entry into the modern legend's lineup, balancing iconic off-road geometry with daily drivability. With a Vehicle Age of just 1 years and approximately 51,786 km, it represents a nearly new opportunity for those who want the latest tech without the initial showroom depreciation. The Blue exterior is a refreshing, high-visibility choice in a market often dominated by monochrome tones, helping it stand out while maintaining strong resale appeal. In the GCC, the short-wheelbase 90 is prized for its superior breakover angle in the dunes and its effortless maneuverability in tight urban spaces like Downtown Dubai or West Bay. For a buyer looking for a rugged yet refined daily companion that can transition from city commutes to weekend desert expeditions, this P300 S is an exceptionally balanced choice.

This Car vs Other 2025 Defender 90s

At 51,786 km, this vehicle has been driven more than the typical 20,000–25,000 km annual GCC average, suggesting regular highway use which often indicates well-maintained mechanical components. Being a 1-year-old vehicle, it benefits from the latest Pivi Pro software updates and interior refinements standard for the 2025 model year. The Blue paintwork is a sophisticated alternative to white, offering a distinctive look that remains highly desirable in the regional used market.

S P300 vs Lower Trims

The S trim serves as a significant upgrade over the base model, introducing features highly valued in the GCC such as the 3D Surround Camera with ClearSight Ground View, which is essential for both technical off-roading and high-curb city parking. It also includes upgraded Resist and Resolve seats for better durability against sand and heat, alongside a more premium 11.4-inch touchscreen interface. Unlike the absolute base spec, the S trim provides the leather-wrapped steering wheel and interactive driver display that define the modern Land Rover cabin experience.

Defender 90 vs Segment Rivals

The Defender 90 leads rivals like the Jeep Wrangler and Ford Bronco in terms of on-road refinement and cabin insulation, thanks to its monocoque architecture. Its 900 mm wading depth is significantly higher than most competitors, providing peace of mind during the intense rain and localized flooding occasionally seen in the Emirates and Oman. The tight turning circle makes it far more practical for urban GCC driving than its longer 110 and 130 siblings.

Running Costs & Resale

Real-world fuel consumption for the P300 engine averages around 12.3 L/100km combined, though highway cruising between cities can see this improve to 11.4 L/100km. Service intervals are typically every 13,000 km or 12 months at authorized centers available throughout the UAE, Saudi Arabia, and the wider GCC. As a GCC-spec model, it retains value significantly better than non-regional imports, with the Defender nameplate currently showing some of the strongest residual values in the luxury SUV segment.

Performance & Capability

The 2.0L turbocharged engine delivers a punchy 300 hp, propelling this SUV from 0–100 km/h in a swift 7.1 seconds, which is more than adequate for high-speed highway merging. Its off-road geometry is class-leading, with a maximum ground clearance of 291 mm when the electronic air suspension is raised to off-road height. The Terrain Response system allows the driver to instantly optimize the All Wheel Drive system for sand, rocks, or gravel at the touch of a button.

Comfort & Cabin

The cabin is a 5-seat layout featuring a powerful GCC-spec air conditioning system designed to cool the interior rapidly even in 45°C temperatures. High-quality acoustic glass helps isolate the occupants from wind noise during long desert highway hauls, while the digital cockpit provides clear navigation data. Despite its compact exterior, the smart interior packaging ensures ample headroom and a commanding view of the road for all passengers.

Safety

Standard safety equipment on this S trim includes a comprehensive suite of ADAS features such as Lane Keep Assist, Emergency Braking, and Traffic Sign Recognition. The 360° parking aid and Wade Sensing technology are particularly useful in the GCC, providing digital visibility in both tight mall parking garages and deep desert wadis. Standard stability control and roll stability systems provide an extra layer of protection during high-speed highway driving.

The bottom line

This 2025 Defender 90 S P300 is the ideal choice for a professional or adventurer seeking a nearly-new, GCC-spec icon that excels in both the city and the dunes. Its combination of fresh styling and proven capability makes it one of the most versatile opportunities on the market today.
