Summary

This 2025 Range Rover SV P615 SWB offers a rare combination of modern performance and ultra-luxury that stands at the very top of the Special Vehicle Operations lineup. With its powerful V8 engine and remarkably low mileage for the GCC market, this black-on-black SUV is a highly desirable choice for buyers seeking immediate delivery of the latest flagship. The SV trim distinguishes itself from common variants through bespoke ceramic interior accents and superior seat craftsmanship. For a GCC buyer, this model provides the ideal balance of high-speed highway refinement and sophisticated cabin cooling required for regional summers. It remains one of the most prestigious ways to navigate the UAE's multi-lane highways and urban centers.

This Car vs Other 2025 Range Rovers

With just 17,630 km on the odometer, this vehicle sits well below the typical 20,000–25,000 km annual average seen in the GCC. While many 2025 models are still in their first year of service, finding an SV trim with this specific black exterior—a top-tier resale color in the regional market—provides a distinct advantage for future value retention. Its American specification offers a significant cost entry point compared to local dealer units while maintaining the same mechanical flagship DNA.

SV P615 SWB vs Lower Trims

The SV trim is a substantial leap over the Autobiography, introducing the high-output P615 engine calibration and exclusive SV-coded exterior styling. Inside, it adds ceramic touchpoints and SV-specific semi-aniline leather with intricate embroidery patterns not found on lower trims. Standard equipment on this SV includes the 1,600W Meridian Signature Sound System and power-closing doors, features that are often optional or simplified on the SE and Autobiography models.

Range Rover vs Segment Rivals

The Range Rover SV competes directly with the Bentley Bentayga and Mercedes-Maybach GLS. It leads these rivals in off-road heritage, offering a more versatile Terrain Response 2 system that handles sandy terrain and gravel with more composure. While the Maybach focuses on pure chauffeur comfort, the SV SWB provides a more engaging driver-centric experience without sacrificing the rear-seat executive amenities required for long cross-emirate trips.

Running Costs & Resale

Real-world fuel consumption for the P615 twin-turbo V8 averages approximately 11.7 L/100km on combined cycles, though GCC city traffic may increase this. It requires 98-octane (Super) fuel to maintain its performance peak. While Land Rover parts are widely available at specialized centers in Dubai and Abu Dhabi, the SV's bespoke trim pieces may require ordering via authorized networks. Black-on-black Range Rovers historically maintain higher resale demand in the secondary GCC market compared to more adventurous color palettes.

Performance & Capability

The P615 powertrain delivers 615 hp and 750 Nm of torque, allowing this massive SUV to reach 100 km/h in just 4.5 seconds. The advanced All-Wheel Steering system significantly reduces the turning circle, making this standard wheelbase (SWB) model surprisingly agile in tight urban parking. Its electronic air suspension features pre-emptive technology that adjusts for upcoming road conditions, ensuring a 'magic carpet' ride across the UAE’s well-maintained highway network.

Comfort & Cabin

The cabin is a sanctuary featuring 24-way adjustable heated and cooled front seats with hot stone massage functionality. The four-zone climate control system is paired with Cabin Air Purification Pro, essential for maintaining air quality during dusty regional conditions. Rear passengers enjoy Executive Class Comfort Plus seating and a dedicated 13.1-inch entertainment screen, providing a first-class travel experience during long drives between cities.

Safety

This SV comes equipped with a comprehensive ADAS suite, including a 3D Surround Camera system that is invaluable for maneuvering in crowded areas. Adaptive Cruise Control with Steering Assist provides a more relaxed experience on the E11 and E311 highways, while Blind Spot Assist monitors fast-moving lane changes. Standard safety features also include Lane Keep Assist and high-speed Emergency Braking, ensuring maximum protection for all five occupants.

The bottom line

For the executive who demands the absolute peak of Land Rover performance and luxury without the wait times of a new factory order, this low-mileage 2025 SV is the premier choice in the current market.
