• 294 mm maximum ground clearance
• 12-speaker Klipsch audio system standard

Summary

This 2026 Nissan Patrol PRO-4X is a rare opportunity to own the all-new Y63 generation in its most rugged, off-road-focused trim. With under 6,000 km, this GCC-spec example is barely broken in, offering a significant advantage over high-mileage alternatives in a market where 25,000 km per year is the norm. The Grey exterior is a highly sought-after, high-resale choice in the UAE, perfectly complementing the PRO-4X’s aggressive Lava Red accents and off-road bumpers. While standard Patrols are built for the city, the PRO-4X introduces adaptive air suspension and all-terrain hardware designed specifically for the region's demanding desert terrain. For the serious GCC buyer, this represents the ultimate balance of factory-warranted durability and next-generation luxury technology.

This Car vs Other 2026 Patrols

With just 5,775 km on the odometer, this vehicle sits well below the average usage for a full-size SUV in the GCC. While many 2026 models arriving on the used market have already seen heavy daily commuting between emirates, this unit maintains its 'as-new' mechanical integrity and interior freshness. The Grey paint is a strategic choice for local resale, holding its value better than niche colors while hiding desert dust more effectively than black.

PRO 4X vs Lower Trims

The PRO-4X trim is a significant leap over the Titanium, adding crucial off-road hardware including a high-clearance front bumper, underbody skid plates, and adaptive air suspension with e-damper technology. Inside, it swaps standard upholstery for exclusive charcoal quilted leather with Lava Red stitching and upgrades the cabin with a 12-speaker Klipsch Premium Audio system. It also features the 'invisible hood' view, a 180-degree camera system that is essential for navigating steep dunes or tight urban parking.

Patrol vs Segment Rivals

In the GCC, the Patrol PRO-4X competes directly with the Toyota Land Cruiser 300 GR-Sport and the Chevrolet Tahoe Z71. The Nissan leads with a massive 700 Nm of torque, surpassing the Land Cruiser's output for superior highway overtaking and sand-climbing power. Its 97-litre fuel tank and wide availability of authorized service centers across the UAE, Saudi Arabia, and Oman make it a more practical long-distance tourer than its American counterparts.

Running Costs & Resale

The 3.5-litre twin-turbo V6 offers improved efficiency over the outgoing V8, with real-world highway consumption averaging around 10 L/100km, though stop-start city traffic will see this rise significantly. As a GCC-spec Nissan, it benefits from the region's strongest service network, with intervals typically every 10,000 km. Historically, the Patrol PRO-4X maintains excellent value retention, depreciating at roughly 8-10% annually, which is significantly lower than European luxury SUVs in this segment.

Performance & Capability

The new twin-turbocharged V6 delivers 425 hp, propelling this 2.8-tonne SUV from 0-100 km/h in approximately 6.7 seconds. Its adaptive air suspension is the standout feature, allowing the driver to raise the vehicle to a maximum ground clearance of 294 mm for serious off-roading or lower it for aerodynamic highway cruising. With six dedicated drive modes—including Sand, Mud, and Rock—and a selectable 4WD system with a locking rear differential, it remains the definitive 'Ship of the Desert'.

Comfort & Cabin

The Y63 cabin is defined by the 28.6-inch Monolith display, which integrates Google Built-in for seamless navigation across the GCC. Despite its rugged exterior, the interior offers high-end luxury with ventilated 'Zero Gravity' seats and a biometric cooling system that uses infrared sensors to detect passenger body heat and adjust airflow automatically. The acoustic glass and improved insulation ensure a whisper-quiet ride, even during high-speed highway travel in peak summer heat.

Safety

Safety is managed by a comprehensive ADAS suite that includes Intelligent Emergency Braking with pedestrian detection, which is vital for busy urban environments like Dubai or Riyadh. For long desert highway drives, the adaptive cruise control and blind-spot monitoring provide essential support. This trim also includes a 360-degree 3D Around View Monitor and a digital rear-view mirror, ensuring total visibility regardless of how many passengers or how much cargo you are carrying.

The bottom line

For the GCC enthusiast who wants the latest Y63 technology with genuine desert-conquering hardware, this low-mileage PRO-4X is the most capable and tech-forward Patrol currently on the market.
