Summary

This 2026 ROX 01 VIP is a high-spec 6-seater that bridges the gap between a family SUV and a private jet. As a range-extended electric vehicle (REEV), it delivers the silent, punchy torque of an EV for your city commutes while the on-board generator eliminates range anxiety for long cross-border trips. The white exterior is a top-tier choice for the GCC, ensuring better heat management and maximum resale value. This VIP trim stands out with its second-row aviation seats, making it a superior choice for executive transport or high-comfort family travel compared to the standard 7-seater. For the UAE buyer, this represents a rare opportunity to own a near-new, cutting-edge SUV that rivals European luxury on tech and presence.

This Car vs Other 2026 ROX 01s

With a vehicle age of 0 years, this ROX 01 is effectively a showroom-fresh unit. Its mileage is exceptionally low for the GCC market, where vehicles often cover 20,000 km in their first year. The white exterior is the most sought-after color in the region, offering the best protection against the desert sun and ensuring the strongest resale liquidity.

VIP vs Lower Trims

The VIP trim is the flagship configuration, replacing the standard three-row bench with individual 12-way electric aviation seats in the second row. These chairs feature zero-gravity reclining, 8-point massage, and heating/ventilation, which are essential for summer comfort. It also includes a 15.6-inch rear entertainment screen and a factory-fitted refrigerator, features often missing on lower-tier variants.

01 vs Segment Rivals

The ROX 01 competes directly with the Li Auto L9 and Land Rover Defender 130. It leads the segment in long-distance versatility with a 1,115 km combined range, far exceeding typical battery-only EVs. Its Pininfarina-designed body offers a rugged presence that rivals European icons while providing a more advanced dual-motor AWD system tuned specifically for sand and rock terrain.

Running Costs & Resale

The REEV powertrain delivers impressive efficiency, averaging approximately 5.9L/100km when the battery is depleted, and near-zero fuel costs during its 235 km pure-electric range. Authorized service centers are established in major UAE hubs like Dubai and Abu Dhabi through partners like Adamas Motors. As a rising luxury brand in the GCC, early indicators suggest the ROX 01 holds value well, particularly in the VIP 6-seater configuration which is in high demand for executive fleets.

Performance & Capability

The dual-motor system produces 476 hp and a massive 740 Nm of torque, enabling a 0-100 km/h sprint of just 5.5 seconds—highly impressive for a vehicle weighing 2.7 tons. It features five dedicated ROX terrain modes including Sand, Mud, and a 700 mm wading depth for rainy season flooding. The 1.5L range-extender ensures you never have to search for a charger during long hauls between Emirates.

Comfort & Cabin

The 6-seat layout provides a '2+2+2' configuration that ensures every passenger has individual space and dedicated AC vents. Triple-zone climate control and ventilated seating for both front and middle rows are standard, designed specifically to combat the 45°C+ GCC summers. High-end materials and acoustic glass create a library-quiet cabin even at highway speeds.

Safety

This VIP trim is equipped with a comprehensive ADAS suite including adaptive cruise control, 360-degree high-definition cameras, and blind-spot monitoring, which are vital for fast-moving UAE highway traffic. It also features a robust 56 kWh battery casing and multiple airbags to ensure maximum protection for all six passengers.

The bottom line

This 2026 ROX 01 VIP is the perfect match for a tech-savvy buyer who wants the first-class comfort of a luxury van with the off-road presence of a rugged SUV. It offers a unique 'best of both worlds' electric experience without any of the range limitations typical in the region.
