Summary

This 2026 Toyota Hilux GR Sport is the ultimate expression of the world's most trusted pickup, combining legendary reliability with Gazoo Racing’s performance DNA. With only 10 km on the odometer, this virtually brand-new GCC-spec truck offers a significant advantage over the typical high-mileage examples found in the region. The black exterior is a high-demand choice that supports strong resale value across the UAE and wider GCC. For the local buyer, this represents the perfect balance of a rugged desert-ready workhorse and a refined daily driver with an uprated 550 Nm torque output. Toyota’s unmatched service network ensures this is one of the safest long-term automotive investments available in the market today.

This Car vs Other 2026 Hiluxs

With just 10 km, this Hilux is essentially a delivery-mileage vehicle, standing out against the 20,000–25,000 km annual average typically seen on GCC roads. The black paintwork is a premier choice for the region, offering a sophisticated look that holds its value better than niche colors. Choosing a car with such low mileage ensures you benefit from the full length of its mechanical life and factory warranty.

GR SPORT vs Lower Trims

The GR Sport sits at the top of the hierarchy, providing a 10% boost in torque over the standard 2.8L trims, bringing total output to 550 Nm. It adds mission-critical hardware for the GCC enthusiast, including specialized monotube shock absorbers for better heat dissipation in desert conditions and a wider track for enhanced stability. Inside, you trade the standard cloth for premium leather and suede seats with red contrast stitching and a 360° panoramic camera system.

Hilux vs Segment Rivals

The Hilux leads its primary rivals, the Isuzu D-Max and Ford Ranger, in the crucial areas of resale value and parts availability across all seven Emirates and neighboring GCC countries. While the Ranger offers tech-heavy cabins, the Hilux provides the mechanical simplicity and cooling efficiency required for extreme 50°C summer heat. Its 550 Nm torque rating ensures it competes directly with the most powerful four-cylinder engines in the segment.

Running Costs & Resale

Toyota maintains the highest resale value in the GCC, with recent data showing up to 65% value retention after three years of ownership. The 2.8L turbo diesel is remarkably efficient for its class, though real-world figures in GCC stop-start traffic will vary based on load and AC usage. Service intervals are typically set at every 10,000 km, supported by the most extensive authorized service network in the Middle East, ensuring low long-term maintenance costs.

Performance & Capability

The uprated 2.8L diesel engine produces a verified 550 Nm of torque, making it exceptionally capable for heavy-duty towing and high-speed highway overtaking. The GR Sport features a Dakar-inspired suspension setup with a 265 mm ground clearance, allowing it to navigate rugged terrain that would challenge standard pickups. A 3,500 kg braked towing capacity ensures you can easily haul boats or trailers across the Emirates.

Comfort & Cabin

The cabin is specifically tailored for the regional climate, featuring a powerful dual-zone automatic climate control system and dedicated rear AC vents to keep all five passengers cool. The interior is elevated by GR-branded sport seats and a leather-wrapped multifunction steering wheel with paddle shifters. Sound insulation has been improved in this generation to ensure long drives from Dubai to Muscat remain comfortable and quiet.

Safety

This trim is equipped with the full Toyota Safety Sense suite, featuring pre-collision warnings and lane departure alerts that are invaluable on fast-moving GCC highways. The 360° camera system and front/rear parking sensors make maneuvering this large truck in tight city spaces effortless. Standard stability control and seven airbags provide a safety foundation that consistently earns high ratings in global crash testing.

The bottom line

For the buyer who demands Dakar-proven durability without sacrificing modern luxury, this delivery-mileage GR Sport is the most robust and high-value pickup opportunity currently available in the GCC.
