• 80-litre fuel tank capacity
• Extensive GCC authorised service network

Summary

This brand-new 2027 Hilux GLX arrives with zero kilometers, offering the exact mechanical simplicity that has made the model a legend in the Gulf. By pairing the naturally aspirated 2.7L petrol engine with a robust automatic transmission and rear-wheel drive, it provides a low-maintenance solution for both fleet operators and private owners. The white exterior is the most liquid color in the UAE used market, ensuring this truck will hold its value better than almost any rival. For the GCC buyer, the GLX trim strikes the perfect balance between essential utility and modern connectivity with its factory touchscreen and smartphone integration. It remains the region’s definitive workhorse, supported by a service network that spans from the city centers to the most remote desert outposts.

This Car vs Other 2027 Hiluxs

As a brand-new vehicle with 0 km, this listing offers a significant advantage over even slightly used 2027 models that may have already entered high-intensity fleet cycles. In the GCC, where the average annual mileage for a pickup can exceed 30,000 km, starting at zero ensures you capture the full longevity of Toyota's engineering. The white paint is the highest-demand resale color in the region, providing better heat reflection and stronger value retention compared to darker shades.

GLX vs Lower Trims

The GLX trim provides a substantial upgrade over the base GL, moving away from basic fleet specifications toward a more driver-focused experience. It replaces standard steel wheels with more durable 17-inch alloys and adds a factory-integrated 8-inch display audio system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Furthermore, this trim includes more refined interior upholstery and chrome exterior accents that signal a higher resale grade for future buyers.

Hilux vs Segment Rivals

When compared to rivals like the Mitsubishi L200 or Nissan Navara, the Hilux leads with the most extensive spare parts availability and authorized service points across the UAE and Saudi Arabia. Its 80-litre fuel tank offers a superior highway range for long-distance hauls across the Emirates. While competitors may offer more passenger-car-like interiors, the Hilux is favored by GCC owners for its superior body-on-frame durability and higher cooling capacity for the local climate.

Running Costs & Resale

The 2.7L petrol engine is optimized for 91-octane fuel, helping to keep daily running costs predictable across the region. Real-world fuel consumption typically averages around 10.4 L/100km, which is efficient for a pickup of this size in GCC stop-start traffic. Historically, the Hilux retains approximately 65% of its value after three years in the UAE market, significantly outperforming American and European rivals. Service intervals are standardized at 10,000 km, with authorized centers readily available in every major GCC city.

Performance & Capability

The 2.7L engine produces a reliable 164 hp and 245 Nm of torque, focused on low-end grunt for carrying loads rather than outright speed. The Rear Wheel Drive (RWD) configuration simplifies the drivetrain, reducing mechanical drag and improving fuel economy for highway-heavy use. With a substantial payload capacity and a rugged leaf-spring rear suspension, it is designed to handle heavy equipment or supplies without compromising stability. This setup is particularly effective for urban delivery and light commercial tasks throughout the GCC.

Comfort & Cabin

The Double Cab configuration comfortably seats five adults, with an air conditioning system specifically tuned for 45°C+ summer peaks. The GLX cabin features a spacious layout with a bold center console that integrates the 8-inch touchscreen for seamless navigation and media. Rear seat passengers benefit from dedicated cooling vents, a vital feature for family or crew comfort during long drives between cities. The interior materials are selected for their ability to withstand the fine sand and heat common in Middle Eastern environments.

Safety

Standard safety features on the 2027 GLX include Vehicle Stability Control (VSC) and Hill-start Assist Control, which are essential for maintaining traction on loose gravel and sand-covered roads. The truck is equipped with multiple SRS airbags and an Emergency Call System (E-Call) for rapid assistance in the event of an incident. ISOFIX anchors are standard in the rear, ensuring it is as safe for family duties as it is for the job site.

The bottom line

This 2027 Hilux GLX is the ideal choice for a buyer who prioritizes long-term reliability and market-leading resale value over unnecessary complexity. It is a 'buy-and-forget' asset that is perfectly suited for the GCC’s demanding environment and high-mileage lifestyle.
