2017 Volkswagen Tiguan spied with extra seats

When manufacturers test their vehicles they usually cover the entire vehicle in eye-straining camo that puts everyone off. There are a few expectations especially when the car is ready to hit showrooms.

Recently, Volkswagen has paraded a train of heavy and not so heavy camouflaged vehicles including the 2018 Passat CC, 2017 Polo GTi, 2017 Polo and 2017 Touareg. Thrown in the mix is the 2017 Volkswagen Tiguan with absolutely no covering and an extended wheelbase.

According to reports, these models are to have an additional 11 cm when lined up next to standard models. Thanks to the extra length, more room is available inside for all passengers including ones in the third row.

Looking for a compact SUV with room for five people? We’ve got new Volkswagen Tiguan and used Volkswagen Tiguan for sale in Dubai, Sharjah and Abu Dhabi.

Regarding power units and drive trains, no word is mentioned if they are to change. However, we expect identical units and both four-wheel and front-wheel drive setups. Just don’t expect a diesel version to be on the table just yet.

What you’ll find inside is not known, although you can expect new materials and finishes covering the seats, dashboard and roof liner. Other upgrades we expect include infotainment system, media applications and safety features.

Volkswagen hasn’t confirmed where in the world this version will be made available and at what price, seeing as this version was spotted in Germany, European markets are a possibility as is China as they love their extended wheel base’s. GCC market availability is also unknown.
