2018 Kia Sorento receives facelift

Serving as a light refresh instead of a radical new design, 2018 Kia Sorento models benefit from quad fog lights borrowed from the 2018 Sportage, slightly redesigned chrome grille with LED headlights mounted either side and air intakes highlighted with gloss black tint.

The mild facelift also includes a slight makeover for the rear end with 2018 Kia Sorento SUV’s now equipped with a re-profiled spoiler, twin exhaust pipes sticking out of the left side of the rear and new rear light designs. A set of newly designed rims complete the changes.

Inside, subtle changes are included with the mild refresh including a new steering wheel and gear lever, a multimedia system incorporating Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, ventilated front seats and wireless charging.

You’ll notice in our gallery; there’s a shot of the gear lever which shows cup-holders and an unknown square with holes and two buttons. The buttons appear to have the universal heated and cooled symbols which would indicate these buttons cool/heat front seats or cool/heat whats in the cupholders.

We’ll have to wait until official confirmation from Kia on what they do.

As of writing 2018 Kia Sorento facelift models are available in South Korea with other markets to be announced at a later date.

South Korean models are fitted with either a 2-litre turbocharged petrol motor or a 2.2-litre diesel motor mated exclusively to an eight-speed automatic gearbox driving the front wheels or all four of them.

Dubicars.com has new Kia Sorento and used Kia Sorento for sale in Dubai, Sharjah and Ajman.
