2019 Hyundai pick up almost ready

Circulating the rumour for a while now, the final design for the Hyundai pickup is almost finalised and so is a release date as it’s slated for a 2019 release date unfortunately with an unknown price.

Looking for a new Hyundai or used Hyundai for sale in Dubai, Sharjah and Abu Dhabi? Dubicars.com has you covered.

Obviously, the South Korean manufacturer won’t be aiming to take on the heavyweights such as the Ford F-150, Chevy Silverado or the upcoming Mercedes Pickup. Instead, they’ll aim for the Toyota Tacoma and others while trying to shift at least 70,000 units a year.

Not much is known about this upcoming model but strong indications lead to the vehicle looking similar to the concept version and as it is a few years away, it appears as a perfect fit in terms of design. Inside, Hyundai hasn’t spilt any beans on what’s inside.

What we can expect from the interior is a choice of leather and fabric clothing for all of the seats, navigation system, Bluetooth connectivity, various media syncing programs, air conditioning and potential autonomous features.

Drive will most likely be sent to all four wheels in top trim and the rear wheels in lower trims hooked up to an automatic transmission. Power units also remain a mystery although it’s safe to say an inline-four cylinder or a six-cylinder petrol motor with various displacements and outputs.

And to round off there is one more unknown, what markets it will enter. If Hyundai wants to sell 70,000+ units a year, they should see it across the globe.
