Leaks are one thing and generally just a rumour, and we tend to ignore them at dubicars unless there is some truth behind them or they are posted by hamad1two3. Why this user in particular you ask? In the past, they have been spot on with numerous leaks when it comes to the Toyota products and this time they’ve managed to snap a few shots of the 2019 Land Cruiser and a special edition Lexus.
While we weren’t expecting any radical changes, the images posted do show off a familiar face, although the 2019 land Cruiser does appear to have a new front splitter for select trim levels and what appears to be a revised front grille with less horizontal bars, Around the back, everything looks identical to the 2018 model apart from the rear spoiler which appears to be slightly different.
There also appears to be a new 2019 Land Cruiser GXR trim level on the way too called Grand Touring. Not much is known about this new trim or if it will it will be base trim, full option, or mid-range.
The popular social media account also revealed the Lexus LX Black Edition S. Put up as a 2019 model, the darkened version looks identical to the current version apart from the new taillights and blacked out accents.
No release date has been announced, seeing as the end of the year is not to far off, expect the 2019 Land Cruiser and Lexus LX Black Edition S to pop up in showrooms in the coming months.
