Unveiled to the world at the recent Geneva Motor Show, the 2020 Mitsubishi ASX has arrived with a fresh face.
No this isn’t the next generation of the ASX but yet another facelift.
As with the recently launched L200, the 2020 Mitsubishi ASX adopts the “Dynamic Shield” front design language. Featuring a prominent grille with chrome inserts, new headlights, new fog lamps and distinct LED clusters.
Rear changes aren’t as significant. New LED taillights and a new bumper with skid plate give the ASX a rugged look. Other updates include three new colours; Sunshine Orange, Oak Brown and Red Diamond.
Inside, the latest ASX gets a larger 8-inch touchscreen with optional TomTom navigation system plus an app that checks the remaining fuel level and provides navigation to the nearest petrol station.
Powering the 2020 Mitsubishi ASX is a 2.0-litre naturally aspirated four-cylinder petrol engine connected to a CVT or a 5-speed manual. Power outputs were not disclosed, however, as it is the same engine as the Outlander, expect a power output of 148 hp and 195 Nm of torque.
Front- and all-wheel-drive models will be available.
The facelifted 2020 Mitsubishi ASX should arrive in the UAE later this year with pricing to be announced closer to the date. Stay tuned.
