Next Rolls-Royce Phantom teased before official reveal

After this weeks Sweptail reveals, we thought Rolls-Royce had their weekly fix of the spotlight. That seems not to be the case as they’ve dropped us a not one but two teasers for the upcoming Rolls-Royce Phantom.

From what we can tell, there are no significant changes to report on. The front end remains similar with a slight revision to the grille with the iconic Spirit of Ecstasy adoring the top.

The second teaser image for the Rolls-Royce Phantom shows off the passenger side dashboard. Visible is a detailed pattern carved into wood. Although it may be hard to spot, look to the far left of the picture, and you’ll notice the traditional analogue clock.

It has already been confirmed that the latest iteration of the Rolls-Royce Phantom weighs less than current models as it glides on an all-aluminium platform. Just a few days ago, four-wheel steering has been confirmed for the executive sedan.

Spy photographers have snapped the vehicle’s interior. While there are similar cues to the previous model, a fully digital dashboard is visible along with a larger media display.

As with the previous generation, a twin-turbo V12 is expected to power the rear wheels via an automatic gearbox. A plug-in hybrid drivetrain is to be introduced shortly after.

More information of the new Rolls-Royce Phantom is set to be revealed on the 27th of July. Sit tight!
