The Dodge Challenger Demon, this is part of it

While we know the 2018 Dodge Challenger Demon is on its way, we have partial knowledge of what’s to come. With that said, the American brand dropping yet another teaser of the beast.

Dodge has kindly dumped a rear view shot of the Demon showing off its large rims and enlarged wheel arches upfront and at the back giving the vehicle a large stance.

Bolted to each corner is a set of exclusive Nitto NT05R surrounding exclusive 18-inch alloys that are said to weigh in substantially less than Hellcat rims.

Power outputs still remain a mystery. However, seeing as Hellcat models pack a feisty supercharged 6.2-litre V8 HEMI upfront generating a ludicrous 707 horsepower, the Challenger Demon is said to go above and beyond that threshold. Hellcat models currently accelerate from 0-100 km/h in mere 3.6 seconds and max out at an impressive 320 km/h!

On top of the horsepower upgrade, Dodge has managed to shed some 91 kilos off the 2018 Challenger Demon. With the motor transitioning across and a three-month diet, the Demon stacks up against Porsche and other sports cars regarding straight line performance.

Dodge has stripped out speakers inside bringing the total of sound emitting devices to two plus the spare tyre and trunk lining have both been taken out, sound deading material is gone, and smaller brakes hid behind the exclusive rims.

Challenger Demon vehicles are set to debut in two months at the New York motor show where all else is to be revealed. Dodge will also launch a teaser of the vehicle every week until its grand debut.
