Entry level Volkswagen Arteon arrives in the Middle East

Later this month, a new entry-level version of the Volkswagen Arteon arrives in the Middle East with 190 horsepower.

Making its debut early this year at the prestigious Geneva International Motor Show, Base models will also be joined by the Elegance trim both of which join the readily available 280 horsepower cars.

Aimed towards budget-conscious buyers, the new entry-level Volkswagen Arteon is no pushover as it does come with digital controls, front wheel drive and reasonable legroom and luggage space. It can also be fitted with a variety of extras including Active Info Display, Discover Pro Infotainment System with 9.2-inch glass screen with gesture control, heads-up display and more.

“The Arteon 190hp follows the recent and successful introduction of the Arteon R-Line to the region. The introduction of the Base and Elegance models with the 190 hp engine has allowed is to offer our customers the full range to meet varying price points.” Explained Andrew Savvas, Brand Director of Volkswagen Middle East.

The Volkswagen Arteon lineup in the Middle East now consists of Base (S), Elegance (SE), Elegance 4-Motion (SEL) and R-Line complete with a 2.0-litre TSI powerplant with a starting price of AED 139,207 including VAT. An exact date is not known, seeing as there are just a few days left in May, the VW Arteon should be available in the next few days.
