Facelifted Honda Jazz debuts before Frankfurt

Yet another manufacturer can’t keep their latest product hidden until its debut next month. First BMW with their latest version of the M5 and now the Honda Jazz has been revealed before its motor show debut.

Compared to the outgoing model, Honda has added a unique set of bumpers, updated front grille, new headlights and a new exterior colour; Skyride Blue.

Inside, select trim levels benefit from pinstripe upholstery, orange highlight trim and a leather wrapped gear lever and steering wheel. The options list also includes a reverse camera, keyless start and a 7-inch infotainment system.

Standard safety features now include automatic headlights, cruise control and city-brake active safety system. Higher spec Honda Jazz models can be fitted with land departure assist forward collision warning and traffic sign recognition.

Honda offers two engine variants to power the front wheel. The returning 1.3-litre i-VTEC produces 101 horsepower while the new 1.5-litre i-VTEC pushes out 128 horses.

Fans of the sport trim can breathe a sigh of relief as the trim level returns with its own unique exterior. Red front splitter, LED headlights, 16-inch gloss black alloys, rear spoiler, side skirts and a red rear diffuser just to name a few highlights of the Honda Jazz Sport model.

During the Frankfurt motor show, expect more information to be released of the Honda Jazz where it is set to make its global debut. Sales will commence early 2018, European customers can start ordering their updated Jazz models in November.
