Ford Mustang Hybrid and others confirmed for 2020

Two things make up American cars, muscular appearance and a mighty large engine that loves sipping petrol. Looks like that’s all about to change in the next coming years as one of the most iconic American muscle cars is going environmentally friendly. Cue the music and hit the lights as there is to be a Ford Mustang Hybrid!

Yes, you read that right. Known for their brutish looks and over the top beefy engines the Mustang is indeed going to have a hybrid powertrain which is scheduled to join the ranks in 2020, and that’s not the only model.

Ford F-150 trucks are also said to be adding the hybrid drivetrain option as well. Not enough environment-friendly Ford vehicles for you? There is also another project the brand is working on. An all-electric SUV with at least 482 km of range is set to launch globally around the same time.

Ford Mustang Hybrid models are said to deliver “V8 power with low-end torque.” which will no doubt entice fans for sure and for those looking for a reason to buy a hybrid pickup, the F-150 is said to operate as a mobile generator making it the perfect machine for the construction site or camping.

This is only the start for the blue oval as the American manufacturer is looking at unveiling more electrified EcoBoost models set to rock the world in 2021.
