Is a 2017 Porsche Cayman GT4 RS coming?

Some just can’t contain their excitement. Whether it’s a new model, update or upgrade someone out there has information on what’s to come. Looks like a Porsche dealership has just spilt the beans a larger 2017 Porsche Cayman GT4 RS incoming.

Snapped on Instagram, the post details a 4.0-litre flat six cylinder with no turbo or supercharged induction is on the table due to popular demand.

Rumours claim, 2017 Porsche Cayman GT4 RS models will churn out a comfortable 500 horsepower, 115 extra compared to the standard GT4.

With estimated figures mentioned, it puts the vehicle on a similar playing field as the current Porsche GT3 RS but in a smaller, nimbler package with a manual box of course.

With that said, upcoming GT3 RS models are to receive a larger engine too with a displacement of 4.2-litres instead of 4-litres.

This could all be an elaborate hoax but seeing it is the 13th of February at the time of writing, this would be a cruel and early April fools joke.

If it’s true, we’d expect it to show up in a few weeks during the 2017 Geneva Motor Show alongside the epic Maybach SUV convertible.

To top it all off, the post goes on to say “this limited model will turn heads” leading us to believe that there won’t be thousands of these on offer.

Until we get official confirmation from the German brand themselves, we’ve got a selection of new Porsche Cayman and used Porsche Cayman for sale in Dubai, Sharjah and Abu Dhabi.
