Jaguar E-Pace caught frolicking in the snow

Jaguar may have just dipped their toes into the SUV market, but that won’t stop them from continuously testing a smaller version of the F-Pace solely known as the Jaguar E-Pace plus others to follow.

Covered in pesky black and white swirls, Jaguar’s upcoming model is still in its pre-production testing phase. These latest snapshots do reveal that this particular E-Pace is wearing its own bodywork instead of the previously spied one that sported Evoque body work.

This new model is set to share a similar chassis of which the Land Rover Discovery Sport rides on. The underpinnings are to be finely tuned, to be more dynamic and sportier.

While the E-Pace may imply that a hybrid or fully electric powertrain is evident, Jaguar has a select model reserved for that kind of power with their future I-Pace SUV.

Power is said to come from a four-cylinder motor with petrol and diesel versions borrowed from Land Rover’s stable.

Once launched, the E-Pace will pounce on its already road ready rivals including the BMW X1, Audi Q3 and Mercedes-Benz GLA-Series.

Now we’ll all have to wait until the brand unveils a larger SUV to join the ranks to challenge the Porsche Cayenne, BMW X5 and Mercedes-Benz GLS-Series.

While we all wait for the E-Pace to make its grand debut at the upcoming Geneva Motor show along the Range Rover Sport Coupe model, we’ve got new Jaguar and used Jaguar for sale in Dubai, Sharjah and Abu Dhabi.
