Lykan is back once again with more power and less diamonds

Two years ago at the Dubai International Motor Show, Middle Eastern based supercar company Lykan took onlookers by storm by revealing the first hypercar the Lykan Hypersport, now at the 2015 Show they have revealed their latest creation and are set to shock the world once again. It has some rather big shoes to fill but an all new engine refined for race pace, it’s safe to say this new beast ticks all the right boxes.

Dubbed the Lykan Fenyr, it packs a serious punch and designed for extreme performance. It’s powered by a flat 6 cylinder 4-litre twin turbocharged petrol engine and sends power to the rear wheels via a seven-speed double clutch automatic gearbox. It’s rated at a whopping 900 horsepower with 1200 Nm of torque. All this power is able to move the beauty from 0-100 km/h in less than 2.7 seconds and can achieve a top speed of over 400 km/h. Woah, those are some serious numbers.

Let’s turn our attention now to the body, and what a stunner it is. It’s set to become desktop wallpapers and posters on everyone’s walls with curves in all the right places. Below is a nice juicy gallery for you to drool over, I’ll let the pictures do the talking.

With the numbers this incredible machine has, it’s not hard to compare with other hypercars that are out there, for example: Bugatti’s Veyron and Hennessey’s Venom GT.

Interior wise, it’s been kept under heavy wraps meaning we don’t actually know what’s inside. Seeing as the Lykan Hypersport came with some incredible features such as 4D technology integrated into the infotainment system, however these won’t feature in this vehicle. Of course Bluetooth pairing and navigation will make an appearance.

Lykan’s last machine went on to start in Fast 7 there is no telling what car related action flicks this Lykan will show up in, maybe the next Fast & Furious film?

For fans of convertibles, I’m sorry to break the news to you like this but no convertible is on the table, this insane beast will only come in coupe style body, sorry. Also for those wondering precious materials won’t be used to adorn the headlights.

Up to 25 units of the Lykan Fenyr are to be built each year, each one constructed from lightweight carbon Fibre, with no confirmed model quantity there may be a few more on the road.

Also announced is an unnamed SUV, it may come as a surprise to some becuase why would a luxury supercar company do such a thing. The SUV and crossover market are two of the biggest in the automotive industry.

No release date has been announced for the Lykan Fenyr, the same goes for pricing. As it’s not packed with diamonds it may come in at a lower price point. Only time will tell. If you’re interested dubicars.com has one Lykan Hypersport for sale in Dubai, check out all the mouth-watering goodness of the vehicle and stay tuned for more info from the Dubai International Motor Show.
