New Lamborghini Revuelto SV Revealed: Limited-Run V12 Hybrid Hypercar

Lamborghini has revealed the Revuelto SV, the latest model to carry the Italian brand’s legendary Super Veloce badge. Limited to just 1,963 units worldwide, the new SV becomes the most powerful and fastest production Lamborghini built at Sant’Agata Bolognese.

Based on the standard Revuelto, the SV combines a naturally aspirated V12 with three electric motors to produce around 1,050hp and 1,425Nm. It also receives major changes to its aerodynamics, suspension, braking system and chassis setup.

Lamborghini Revuelto SV Engine & Performance

The Revuelto SV retains Lamborghini’s 6.5-litre naturally aspirated V12, which produces around 814hp at 9,250rpm and 725Nm at 6,750rpm. The engine can rev to 9,500rpm.

It is supported by three electric motors and a 7.3kWh lithium-ion battery. Combined output rises to approximately 1,050hp, around 49hp more than the standard Revuelto.

Performance figures include:

• 0–100km/h: 2.4 seconds
• 0–200km/h: 6.7 seconds
• Top speed: Over 345km/h
• System torque: 1,425Nm

Power is managed through an eight-speed dual-clutch transmission with a mechanical limited-slip differential.

The Revuelto SV has a dry weight of 1,772kg, resulting in a power-to-weight ratio of around 1.69kg/hp.

More Downforce & Revised Design

The exterior changes go well beyond visual updates. Lamborghini has redesigned several aerodynamic components to increase grip and stability at high speeds.

The Revuelto SV gets a new front splitter, revised underbody, additional aerodynamic elements around the front wheel arches, a fixed rear wing and a Gurney flap.

According to Lamborghini, total downforce has increased by 80% compared with the regular Revuelto and is 10% higher than the Aventador SVJ. Downforce-to-drag efficiency has also improved by 60%.

Brake cooling improves by 12% through revised airflow channels.

The SV also receives dedicated badging, black exterior details, new liveries and extensive carbon-fibre components. Customers can specify up to 25 exterior parts in exposed carbon fibre through Lamborghini’s Ad Personam personalisation programme.

New Suspension, Brakes & Pilota Mode

Lamborghini has fitted the Revuelto SV with four-way manually adjustable passive dampers derived from GT3 racing technology.

The new suspension setup is claimed to provide 17% more agility and 10% greater lateral grip than the standard Revuelto. Lamborghini will also provide suggested suspension settings for flat, bumpy and wet circuits.

Stopping power comes from a new CCM-R Plus carbon-ceramic braking system. The front discs measure 420 x 40mm, while the rear discs measure 410 x 32mm.

Lamborghini claims the SV can stop from 200km/h in 110 metres. Compared with the standard Revuelto, the system offers 11% greater peak deceleration and 23% better heat dissipation.

Another major addition is the new Pilota driving mode. Controlled through a red rotary switch on the steering wheel, it uses a five-stage traction control system developed using Lamborghini’s GT3 experience.

Changes inside focus mainly on reducing weight and creating a more track-focused driving position. Carbon-fibre door panels are fitted as standard, along with Sport Seats featuring carbon shell structures. Buyers can also choose optional monocoque carbon-fibre Race Seats for additional weight savings and lateral support.

The cabin receives SV-specific graphics and animations, while the Pilota Mode and ANIMA drive-mode controls are finished in red. Lamborghini also offers several leather and Corsa-Tex combinations, along with an optional Sonus faber audio system.

Hockenheimring Record

• Lamborghini factory driver Marco Mapelli recorded a 1 minute 41.6 second lap around the Hockenheimring in the Revuelto SV.
• Lamborghini says this makes the Revuelto SV the fastest production car recorded at the German circuit.
• The car uses bespoke Bridgestone Potenza Race R semi-slick tyres, measuring 265/35 ZR20 at the front and 345/30 ZR21 at the rear.
• It also becomes the first series-production Lamborghini to feature the brand’s redesigned Monolocker centre-lock wheel system.

Lamborghini Revuelto SV Price & Availability

Production of the Lamborghini Revuelto SV will be limited to 1,963 units, referencing the year Lamborghini was founded. Pricing has not yet been announced. Lamborghini also states that the Revuelto SV is not yet offered for sale, while its official fuel consumption and emissions figures are still undergoing type approval.

No UAE pricing or market launch details have been announced yet. The Revuelto SV continues a performance lineage that started with the Miura SV in 1971, followed by models including the Diablo SV, Murciélago LP 670-4 SV and Aventador SV.

The Revuelto SV is much more than a higher-powered Revuelto. Lamborghini has focused heavily on aerodynamics, braking, suspension and vehicle control, which should make the difference more noticeable on a circuit. More importantly, the SV shows that Lamborghini intends to keep the character of its most extreme V12 models alive even as hybrid technology becomes a bigger part of its performance strategy.
