During this week’s Premier Dubai International Motor Show onlookers will be able to get up close and personal with regional debuts including the new Porsche Cayenne Turbo.
To distinguish the new Cayenne Turbo from the rest of the lineup, an exclusive front end with LED headlights, 21-inch alloys, flared out wheel arches, twin exhaust pipes and a rear apron covered in body matching paint.
A key component of the new Porsche Cayenne Turbo is the active aerodynamics adaptive roof spoiler which pushes down on the rear axle while working as an air brake at the same time.
Drivers stepping on the brakes at speeds of 250 km/h will bring the model to a complete stop in two metres.
Inside, the model benefits from Porsche’s Advanced Cockpit highlighted by an enlarged media display, multi-speaker BOSE premium sound system, sports seats with multi-way power features and a leather wrapped multi-function steering wheel.
Driving the Porsche Cayenne Turbo is a 4.0-litre twin-turbocharged V8. Rated at 550 horsepower and 770 Nm of torque, all-four wheels move the vehicle form 0-100 km/h in under four seconds with the Sports Chrono Package installed.
Enabling the model to achieve such a feat, Porsche has introduced a new eight-speed Tiptronic S gearbox which provides lightning quick yet smooth gear changes.
Porsche Cayenne Turbo models can be fitted with a number of optional extras including rear-axle steering, Torque Vectoring Plus and Dynamic Chassis Control roll stabilisation along with the traditional Sports Chrono Package and Sports Exhaust System.
