Summary

This 2011 Range Rover Supercharged Vogue represents the final, most refined iteration of the iconic L322 generation, widely considered a modern classic in the GCC. With its black-on-black color scheme, it maintains high resale desirability across the Emirates, offering a timeless presence that outlasts many modern rivals. The 510-horsepower V8 provides effortless highway cruising, while the Vogue trim ensures every journey is met with top-tier luxury. At 184,000 km, this vehicle has been driven consistently within the average annual range for a GCC-based SUV of this age, suggesting a life of active use. For the buyer seeking the quintessential British off-road icon with immense power, this regional-spec example is a standout choice.

This Car vs Other 2011 Range Rovers

At 184,000 km, this Range Rover sits comfortably within the typical range for 2011 models in the GCC, where long-distance travel between emirates is standard. The Black exterior is a high-demand color in the local market, ensuring it retains its aesthetic appeal and value better than lighter or more niche shades. Its GCC specification is a critical advantage, ensuring the cooling systems and electronics are built to handle local summer temperatures.

SUPERCHARGED VOGUE vs Lower Trims

The Supercharged Vogue is a significant leap over the standard HSE trim, replacing the naturally aspirated engine with a 510-hp powerhouse and adding 6-piston Brembo front brakes. Inside, this trim introduces semi-aniline perforated leather, a 12-inch TFT digital instrument cluster—pioneering for its time—and a 14-speaker Harman Kardon Logic7 audio system. It also features standard cooled and heated front seats, a vital luxury for the Middle Eastern climate.

Range Rover vs Segment Rivals

While rivals like the Mercedes-Benz G-Class offer ruggedness and the Porsche Cayenne offers sharper handling, the Range Rover leads in pure ride quality and split-personality capability. Its 90-litre fuel tank is ideal for cross-border GCC road trips, and its Terrain Response system provides a level of off-road confidence in the sand that road-biased luxury SUVs cannot match. The L322's upright design also provides superior visibility and cabin airiness compared to the more claustrophobic designs of its German competitors.

Running Costs & Resale

The 5.0L Supercharged V8 has a combined fuel consumption of approximately 14.9L/100km, though GCC city driving in stop-start traffic can see higher figures. As a GCC-spec vehicle, it benefits from a wide network of authorized service centers and specialized independent garages across the UAE and Saudi Arabia. While European luxury SUVs experience steeper depreciation than Japanese alternatives, the L322 generation Supercharged models have recently shown strong value stabilization as they enter enthusiast-classic status.

Performance & Capability

The headline figure is the 510 hp and 625 Nm of torque, which allows this nearly 2.6-tonne SUV to reach 100 km/h in just 6.2 seconds. Its sophisticated All-Wheel Drive system and adjustable air suspension allow it to transition from a smooth highway cruiser to a capable desert explorer at the turn of a dial. A top speed of 225 km/h ensures that highway overtaking is always effortless, even when fully loaded for a family weekend.

Comfort & Cabin

The cabin is a sanctuary of wood and leather, featuring the L322’s famous 'Command' driving position for an unobstructed view of the road. Four-zone climate control and ventilated seats are standard on this trim, providing essential relief during the peak of the GCC summer. Acoustic laminated glass ensures the cabin remains remarkably quiet, shielding occupants from wind and road noise during high-speed desert crossings.

Safety

Safety is comprehensive, featuring a full suite of airbags and Land Rover's specialized Stability Control systems designed to prevent rollovers. The Supercharged trim includes upgraded high-performance braking systems and Adaptive Dynamics that monitor vehicle movements 500 times per second. Standard features like Bi-Xenon headlights and a rear-view camera provide extra security during nighttime highway drives and tight city parking.

The bottom line

This is a well-maintained, high-spec GCC model for the buyer who appreciates the L322’s unmatched heritage and wants the maximum performance available for that generation.
