Summary

This GCC-spec 2015 Bentley Flying Spur W12 offers a high-performance executive experience with mileage that is significantly below average for its age in the local market. Finished in timeless black, it commands a powerful road presence while benefiting from the most resilient resale color in the GCC. While the V8 model is common, the W12 trim provides a massive torque advantage and effortless highway overtaking that defines the brand's heritage. The most important consideration for a GCC buyer is the peace of mind provided by its regional cooling systems, which are engineered to handle 50°C summer heat without compromise. This is a rare opportunity to secure a hand-assembled grand tourer that bridges the gap between a performance sedan and a chauffeur-driven limousine.

This Car vs Other 2015 Flying Spurs

With just 73,530 km on the odometer, this Flying Spur has been driven roughly 8,000 km per year, which is far below the typical 20,000–25,000 km annual average seen in the GCC. The black-on-black color combination is the most sought-after spec in the UAE and Saudi Arabian used markets, ensuring much higher demand at resale compared to lighter or non-standard interior hues. Its low-mileage status and GCC-origin provenance make it a top-tier example compared to higher-mileage alternatives currently available.

W12 vs Lower Trims

The W12 trim sits significantly above the V8, offering an additional 116 horsepower and a more sophisticated power delivery that only a twelve-cylinder engine can provide. Unlike the entry-level V8, the W12 often comes standard with higher-grade hides and expanded wood veneer options that elevate the cabin's tactile feel. It also features the signature oval exhaust tips and specific W12 badging, signaling its status as the flagship of the Flying Spur range.

Flying Spur vs Segment Rivals

The Flying Spur competes primarily with the Mercedes-Maybach S-Class and the Rolls-Royce Ghost, leading the segment in pure driver engagement and top-end speed. Its permanent all-wheel-drive system provides superior stability on sandy or rain-slicked GCC highways compared to rear-wheel-drive rivals. Additionally, the 90-litre fuel tank ensures longer cruising ranges between emirates than most performance-oriented luxury sedans.

Running Costs & Resale

Real-world fuel consumption for the W12 averages around 14.4 L/100km, though city driving in stop-start Dubai or Riyadh traffic will see higher figures. Service intervals are typically every 10,000 km or 12 months, with an extensive network of authorized Bentley centers and specialists across the UAE, Qatar, and Saudi Arabia. While European luxury sedans face notable depreciation, the W12 trim holds its value better than the V8 in the GCC due to its exclusivity and status among local collectors.

Performance & Capability

The 6.0L W12 engine produces 800 Nm of torque, allowing this 2.4-ton sedan to reach 100 km/h in a staggering 4.6 seconds. The 8-speed ZF automatic transmission and all-wheel drive work in harmony to provide a seamless surge of power that is particularly useful for fast-moving highway merges. Its adaptive air suspension offers four damping modes, allowing you to transition from a soft, cloud-like ride for city cruising to a firm, controlled setup for high-speed stability.

Comfort & Cabin

The interior is a showcase of British craftsmanship, featuring diamond-quilted leather and multi-zone climate control that remains effective even in extreme desert heat. The 5-seat layout provides massive rear legroom, while the acoustic glass effectively isolates the cabin from road noise and high-speed wind buffeting. Ventilated seats and a premium 8-speaker audio system are standard, ensuring every journey across the region is spent in absolute comfort.

Safety

Standard safety features include a comprehensive array of airbags, electronic stability control, and advanced traction management via the AWD system. The Flying Spur is equipped with high-performance ventilated disc brakes designed to bring its significant mass to a halt from high speeds with zero fade. Standard parking sensors and a rearview camera assist with navigating tight urban spaces, while the robust chassis construction provides elite levels of occupant protection.

The bottom line

This is the ideal choice for an executive or enthusiast who wants the prestige of a W12 Bentley with the security of a well-maintained, low-mileage GCC-spec history.
