With all the excitement over the upcoming 2017 Panamera, a complete redesign that will be larger and more accommodating yet no heavier than the current version, you’d think sales of the 2016 model would’ve dried up, but not so. Receiving a truly sensational 4.8-liter V8 engine producing 440bhp and 520Nm of torque, with an impressive a 0-100km run of 4.4 seconds, while driving the steering is precise with the 4-wheel drive and handling is comparable to that of much smaller sports cars. Power can be served up with muscle-car wallops or in measured increments. The PDK transmission fires off gearchanges with urgency when pedalling the accelerator hard, or with fluid transitions when cruising down the highway.
