This 2022 Nissan Patrol NISMO stands as a high-performance icon in the GCC, offering a rare combination of race-inspired engineering and full-size SUV utility. With 80,000 km, this white exterior example sits at a typical mileage for its four-year age, having likely seen the long-distance highway duty these vehicles excel at. The NISMO trim adds significant prestige and exclusivity, featuring a Takumi-tuned engine and a distinct aerodynamic body kit that commands respect on any road. For the GCC buyer, the Patrol's legendary air conditioning and massive 140-litre fuel tank make it an unrivaled choice for cross-border journeys and extreme summer heat. This listing represents a strong opportunity to own the ultimate expression of the Patrol lineage with high resale potential in the local market.

This Car vs Other 2022 Patrols

At 80,000 km, this vehicle’s mileage is well within the expected range for a four-year-old car in the GCC, where annual averages typically hit 20,000 km. The white exterior is the most sought-after color in the region, ensuring the highest possible liquidity and value retention at the time of resale. While standard models focus on luxury, this NISMO variant offers a mechanical sharpness that distinguishes it from more common highway-spec cruisers.

NISMO vs Lower Trims

The NISMO is a complete mechanical overhaul compared to the LE Platinum trim, adding a 28 hp power bump and a signature NISMO-tuned suspension with Bilstein shock absorbers. It features exclusive 22-inch forged alloy wheels that reduce unsprung weight, alongside a race-inspired Alcantara and leather interior with red accents. This trim also standardizes the 12.3-inch infotainment display and the full Nissan Intelligent Mobility safety suite, which are often optional or simplified on lower grades.

Patrol vs Segment Rivals

The Patrol NISMO leads competitors like the Toyota Land Cruiser GR Sport and GMC Yukon Denali in terms of raw engine character, utilizing a naturally aspirated high-output V8 where others have moved to turbocharged V6s. Its 140-litre fuel tank provides a massive advantage for long-distance cruising across the Saudi or Omani borders compared to the smaller tanks in most rivals. Additionally, the NISMO’s aerodynamics are specifically designed for high-speed stability on the UAE's multi-lane highways.

Running Costs & Resale

The Patrol NISMO carries a real-world combined fuel consumption of approximately 14.5 L/100km, with highway efficiency improving significantly during steady-speed cruising. Nissan's extensive authorized service network across every GCC country ensures that maintenance is straightforward, with standard service intervals typically every 10,000 km. Historically, the Patrol holds some of the best resale value in the Middle East, with the NISMO trim often retaining a premium due to its exclusivity and high demand among enthusiasts.

Performance & Capability

The heart of this SUV is the Takumi-tuned 5.6L V8 producing 428 hp, enabling the massive vehicle to reach 100 km/h in approximately 6.5 seconds. While the NISMO suspension is lowered for better on-road handling and reduced lift, it retains a sophisticated all-wheel-drive system with selectable modes for sand and snow. This makes it an exceptional highway overtaking machine and a confident performer on gravel paths, though its primary focus is dominating the asphalt with sports-car-like precision.

Comfort & Cabin

The cabin is a masterclass in sport-luxury, featuring eight seats upholstered in a unique blend of red leather and black Alcantara. GCC-essential features include ventilated front seats and a powerful tri-zone climate control system with dedicated rear vents to ensure rapid cooling during the peak of summer. Technophiles will appreciate the 13-speaker Bose audio system and the cooled center console box, which is perfect for keeping beverages chilled on long desert drives.

Safety

This NISMO trim is equipped with a comprehensive safety suite designed for fast-paced GCC traffic, including Intelligent Forward Collision Warning, Blind Spot Intervention, and a 360-degree Around View Monitor. It also features standard Adaptive Cruise Control and Lane Departure Prevention, which significantly reduce driver fatigue during the long, straight highway runs common between emirates. High-performance braking hardware with red NISMO calipers provides the stopping power necessary for a vehicle of this weight and capability.

The bottom line

This Patrol NISMO is the perfect choice for a GCC driver who demands the presence and utility of a large SUV without sacrificing performance, offered here in the region's most favorable color and specification.
