Summary

This 3-year-old Nissan Patrol SE T2 is a prime example of the Gulf's most respected SUV, offering the perfect balance of modern tech and legendary reliability. With 46,000 km, the mileage is exceptionally low for a GCC-based Patrol, where the yearly average often exceeds 20,000 km. The white exterior is the highest-demand color in the region, ensuring this car will hold its value better than almost any rival at resale. Choosing the SE T2 trim gets you essential comfort upgrades like a sunroof and powered tailgate without the higher running costs of the V8. For anyone needing a bulletproof family workhorse that can handle the Dubai-to-Abu Dhabi commute and desert weekends with ease, this is the definitive choice.

This Car vs Other 2023 Patrols

At just 46,000 km, this vehicle has covered significantly less distance than the typical 60,000–75,000 km expected for a three-year-old SUV in the GCC. The white paintwork is not just a stylistic choice but a strategic one, as it remains the most liquid color in the UAE used market. Being a GCC-spec model, it retains the full cooling capacity and regional warranty suitability that imported specimens lack.

SE T2 vs Lower Trims

The SE T2 is a significant step up from the base XE trim, adding features that define the modern Patrol experience. It introduces a powered tailgate, a remote engine starter—critical for cooling the cabin during GCC summers—and a sunroof. Inside, you get the upgraded 12.3-inch infotainment system with wireless Apple CarPlay and the Intelligent Rear View Mirror, which provides a clear camera feed even when the eight-seat cabin is fully loaded.

Patrol vs Segment Rivals

The Patrol leads rivals like the Toyota Land Cruiser and Chevrolet Tahoe when it comes to long-distance range, thanks to its massive 140-litre fuel tank. While competitors may offer smaller displacements, the Patrol's 4.0L V6 is celebrated for its mechanical simplicity and ease of maintenance across all seven Emirates. Its interior space, particularly the usable legroom in the third row, remains the benchmark for the full-size SUV segment.

Running Costs & Resale

Real-world fuel consumption for the 4.0L V6 typically averages around 11.8 to 14.5 L/100km depending on the mix of highway and city driving. Service intervals are set at 10,000 km or 12 months, and Nissan's authorized service network is among the most extensive in the GCC, ensuring parts are affordable and readily available. The Patrol historically retains approximately 60–63% of its value after five years, making it one of the safest financial bets in the automotive market.

Performance & Capability

The 275 hp V6 engine provides smooth, linear power delivered through a refined 7-speed automatic transmission, making highway overtaking effortless. With a standard 4WD system and a ground clearance of 244 mm, this SUV is as capable of navigating soft sand dunes as it is cruising at 120 km/h on the E11. The suspension is tuned specifically for the region, absorbing road imperfections while maintaining stability under heavy family loads.

Comfort & Cabin

The eight-seat configuration is designed for maximum family flexibility, featuring a cool box in the center console to keep drinks chilled during peak summer heat. Multi-zone climate control with dedicated rear vents ensures all three rows stay comfortable even when outside temperatures exceed 45°C. High-quality acoustic glass helps isolate the cabin from wind noise during high-speed highway travel across the desert.

Safety

This Patrol comes equipped with a comprehensive safety suite including front and rear parking sensors, a high-resolution rear-view camera, and Nissan's Advanced Airbag System. The Intelligent Rear View Mirror is a standout feature for this trim, allowing the driver to see past tall passengers or bulky cargo. Standard stability control and hill-start assist provide additional confidence when navigating the diverse terrains of the UAE.

The bottom line

This is the ideal opportunity for a GCC family or professional seeking a low-mileage, high-spec Patrol that offers maximum resale protection and proven regional durability.
