Summary

This 2023 Nissan Patrol Super Safari T2 is a definitive choice for GCC buyers seeking a balance of modern utility and legendary durability. With 59,000 km, the mileage is perfectly in line with the typical 25,000 km annual average for the region, suggesting healthy highway use rather than extreme city idling. The black exterior is a high-demand shade in the local market, ensuring excellent resale liquidity and a commanding road presence. As one of the most respected nameplates in the Middle East, this model thrives where others struggle, offering mechanical simplicity that excels in extreme heat. For those who prioritize a bulletproof service network and reliable 4x4 hardware, this listing represents a stable, high-value investment.

This Car vs Other 2023 Patrols

At 59,000 km, this vehicle aligns with the average GCC usage profile for a two-year-old SUV, where long-distance highway commutes between emirates are common. The black exterior is a premium choice for resale in the UAE and Saudi markets, often attracting faster buyer interest than less traditional colors. Unlike many high-mileage examples used for heavy off-roading, this unit presents a balanced mechanical history suitable for daily family duties.

SUPER SAFARI T2 vs Lower Trims

The T2 trim significantly upgrades the ownership experience over the base XE, adding high-demand features such as a remote engine starter—essential for pre-cooling the cabin in GCC summers. It further distinguishes itself with a powered tailgate, wireless smartphone charging, and a factory-fitted cooling box in the center console. These additions, alongside the improved interior finishers, are key value-drivers that GCC buyers specifically look for in the used market.

Patrol vs Segment Rivals

The Nissan Patrol leads its primary rival, the Toyota Land Cruiser, by offering a more spacious 8-seat configuration in this specific V6 trim. Its 140-liter fuel capacity (main and sub-tank) provides a superior range for long desert stretches compared to smaller-capacity SUVs in the crossover segment. While rivals may offer more complex electronics, the Patrol maintains a lead in pure mechanical durability and parts availability in remote areas across the Middle East.

Running Costs & Resale

Real-world fuel consumption for the 4.0L V6 typically averages 13–15 L/100km, offering a more efficient alternative to the V8 for city-heavy driving in Dubai or Riyadh. Nissan maintains one of the most robust authorized service networks in the GCC, ensuring low-cost maintenance and easy parts access from Kuwait to Oman. Historically, the Patrol holds approximately 70-75% of its value over three years, making it one of the safest assets in terms of depreciation in the local market.

Performance & Capability

The 275 hp V6 engine provides reliable power for highway overtaking and confident dune entry, reaching a top speed of 200 km/h. With a maximum ground clearance of 273 mm and a dedicated low-range transfer case, this SUV is built for genuine off-road exploration. The Four Wheel Drive system features selectable modes for sand and rock, allowing drivers to navigate the varied terrains of the Arabian Peninsula with ease.

Comfort & Cabin

Inside, the 8-seat layout is optimized for large families, featuring a dual automatic air conditioning system with dedicated rear cooling vents that are engineered to maintain 22°C even when outside temperatures exceed 45°C. The cabin includes a factory refrigerator (cool box) to keep drinks cold during long summer drives and high-quality insulation to reduce road noise. The T2 trim also features wood-grain accents and a leather-wrapped steering wheel, enhancing the premium feel for daily commutes.

Safety

Standard safety features on this trim include a 360-degree Around View Monitor, which is vital for maneuvering a vehicle of this size in tight city parking. The Patrol is equipped with front and side airbags, electronic stability control, and a tire pressure monitoring system (TPMS) that is crucial for maintaining safety after airing down for desert drives. ABS and Traction Control come standard, providing stable braking on both highway asphalt and loose gravel surfaces.

The bottom line

For the GCC buyer who needs a reliable family workhorse that can transition seamlessly from the city to the dunes, this 2023 Patrol V6 is the optimal choice. It offers the perfect mileage-to-age ratio and the security of a vehicle with the region's strongest resale reputation.
