• Extensive GCC authorised service network

Summary

This 2024 Nissan Patrol SE T2 is a quintessential choice for the GCC, offering a practical balance of luxury and legendary reliability. With only 36,345 km, it has seen light use relative to the high-mileage highway standards of the region, ensuring plenty of life for cross-border road trips or school runs. The white exterior is the highest-demand resale color in the Middle East, naturally reflecting heat while maintaining strong long-term value. As a GCC-spec model, it is built to withstand extreme summer temperatures and is supported by a massive local service infrastructure. It remains a segment leader for those who require genuine eight-adult seating and a massive fuel range for long-distance desert transit.

This Car vs Other 2024 Patrols

With just over 36,000 km, this unit sits well below the typical 45,000–50,000 km average expected for a one-year-old SUV in the highway-centric GCC market. The white exterior is a strategic choice for local buyers, offering the best heat reflection during summer months and the highest historical resale liquidity in the UAE and Saudi Arabia. Choosing a 2024 model provides the most refined version of the Y62 platform before the generational shift, ensuring all mechanical updates are present.

SE T2 vs Lower Trims

The SE T2 trim is the preferred 'sweet spot' in the range, adding essential GCC comforts over the base XE trim including a remote engine starter—crucial for pre-cooling the cabin—and a larger 12.3-inch infotainment display. It also introduces roof rails and a power-operated liftgate, providing the convenience expected of a modern family SUV without the higher maintenance costs associated with the air suspension found in LE Platinum trims.

Patrol vs Segment Rivals

Compared to the Toyota Land Cruiser 300, the Patrol offers a wider cabin that genuinely accommodates three adults in the second row, making it a superior logistics tool for large families. Its standard 140-litre fuel tank significantly outclasses the Land Cruiser's 110-litre capacity, offering much greater non-stop range for long desert highway hauls. The Patrol is also widely recognized for its softer on-road ride quality compared to the more utility-focused Chevrolet Tahoe.

Running Costs & Resale

The Patrol holds the highest resale value in the UAE market, typically retaining 85-88% of its value after the first year. Maintenance is straightforward with 10,000 km service intervals and the widest authorized service network in the region, including Al Masaood and Arabian Automobiles. Real-world fuel consumption averages around 11.8 L/100km on highways, though the massive 140-litre tank ensures fewer stops during inter-emirate travel.

Performance & Capability

Equipped with the 4.0L V6 and Nissan’s All-Mode 4WD system, this vehicle is purpose-built for the region's diverse terrain with selectable modes for Sand, Rock, and Snow. It features a robust 7-speed automatic transmission that provides smooth gear changes during high-speed highway cruising and precise control for weekend dune bashing. With 273mm of ground clearance, it easily navigates high curbs and uneven desert tracks.

Comfort & Cabin

The cabin is configured as a full eight-seater, featuring dedicated rear AC vents and controls to ensure all passengers remain cool in 45°C+ heat. High-quality materials and improved sound insulation provide a quiet sanctuary from outside wind noise during fast highway drives. The SE T2 trim includes a wireless charger and multiple USB ports to keep family devices powered during long trips between cities.

Safety

Standard safety features on this trim include a high-resolution rear-view camera and front/rear parking sensors to assist in maneuvering this large SUV in tight city spaces. The Intelligent Rear-View Mirror provides a clear digital feed even when the cargo area is fully loaded, while the standard suite of front, side, and curtain airbags ensures comprehensive protection for all three rows of passengers.

The bottom line

This is the ideal opportunity for a family buyer looking for a near-new, high-retention SUV that is perfectly specced for the GCC climate and ready for immediate long-distance use.
