This 2024 Ford Territory Titanium is a compelling choice for GCC buyers, showing 50,000 km over its 2-year lifespan, which aligns perfectly with regional driving averages. The Red exterior stands out in a market of whites and silvers while remaining a popular choice for those wanting a modern, bold aesthetic. As the range-topping Titanium trim, it offers a level of cabin technology and safety equipment that bridges the gap into the luxury segment. It stands out from rivals with its exceptionally generous rear legroom and the refined 1.8L EcoBoost engine. For a GCC owner, the combination of a powerful air conditioning system and a strong regional service network makes this a hassle-free family workhorse.

This Car vs Other 2024 Ford Territorys

With 50,000 km on the odometer, this vehicle sits exactly at the expected average for a 2-year-old car in the GCC, where highway-heavy commutes are the norm. The Red finish is a vibrant alternative to common shades and maintains strong appeal in the secondary market for younger families. Choosing this Titanium trim ensures you are getting the most technologically advanced version of this model available for the 2024 year.

TITANIUM vs Lower Trims

The Titanium trim significantly elevates the experience over the Ambiente and Trend variants by adding a full 12-inch digital instrument cluster and a twin-panel panoramic moonroof. GCC buyers will particularly value the hands-free, foot-activated power liftgate and the upgraded 8-speaker audio system. It also replaces the standard 18-inch wheels with more aggressive 19-inch alloys and introduces premium leather-trimmed seating with multi-color ambient lighting.

Territory vs Segment Rivals

When compared to the Toyota Corolla Cross or Hyundai Tucson, the Territory leads with its superior wheelbase, providing noticeably more rear-seat legroom for growing families. Its 1.8L turbocharged engine offers 190 hp, providing a more effortless highway cruising experience than many naturally aspirated competitors. Additionally, the integrated dual-screen cockpit layout gives it a more modern, tech-forward interior than the Mazda CX-5.

Running Costs & Resale

The 1.8L EcoBoost engine delivers a balanced fuel consumption of approximately 7.4 L/100km on the highway, though GCC city traffic may see figures closer to 9.5 L/100km. Service intervals are typically every 10,000 km or 12 months, supported by Ford's extensive authorized network across the UAE, KSA, and Kuwait. As a newer entry to the market, it is showing competitive value retention, typically depreciating at a rate of 12-15% annually in the local market.

Performance & Capability

The 190 hp turbocharged engine is paired with a 7-speed dual-clutch transmission, delivering a smooth 0-100 km/h sprint in 8.5 seconds. While front-wheel drive, the Territory offers selectable drive modes, including a Mountain mode that adjusts traction control for sand-slicked tarmac or gravel tracks common in rural GCC areas. Its 190 mm ground clearance is ample for navigating high speed bumps and urban road transitions with ease.

Comfort & Cabin

The cabin is specifically tailored for high-temperature climates, featuring a powerful dual-zone climate control system with dedicated rear-seat vents. The Titanium trim's leather seats are designed for long-distance comfort on cross-emirate trips, complemented by an acoustic windshield that minimizes wind noise at highway speeds. A flat rear floor means the middle passenger enjoys genuine comfort, a rarity in this segment.

Safety

The Titanium trim comes standard with Ford's full suite of driver-assist technologies, including Adaptive Cruise Control, which is essential for the long stretches of highway between GCC cities. It features Blind Spot Monitoring and Lane Keeping Aid to manage fast-moving traffic, alongside a 360-degree camera system for easy parking. Safety is further bolstered by six airbags and a reinforced high-strength steel passenger cage.

The bottom line

Perfect for the tech-savvy family in the UAE or KSA, this Titanium trim offers luxury-level features and a spacious cabin at a highly competitive price point.
