Ford Territory TREND

Highlights

• 0–100 km/h in 8.5 seconds
• 320 Nm of torque
• 448 litres boot space

Summary

This 2026 Ford Territory Trend is practically a brand-new vehicle, showing just 2,500 km on the odometer—exceptional for a GCC-spec SUV in a market where 20,000 km is the annual norm. The Green exterior is a contemporary choice that sets it apart from the sea of white and silver crossovers while remaining a high-demand shade for Ford's modern design language. As a Trend trim, it offers the perfect balance of technology and value, featuring a dual-screen digital cockpit that rivals premium European competitors. For a buyer in the GCC, this is an opportunity to own a current-model-year vehicle that has barely passed its run-in period, ensuring the full factory warranty remains almost untouched.

This Car vs Other 2026 Ford Territorys

With only 2,500 km, this vehicle is in the lowest percentile of mileage for the 2026 model year in the GCC. While average annual use in the region often reaches 25,000 km due to highway commuting, this car has essentially been preserved. The Green finish is a premium aesthetic choice that maintains strong resale appeal in the secondary market.

TREND vs Lower Trims

The Trend trim is a significant step up from the base Ambiente, most notably adding side airbags for enhanced safety and a high-definition 12-inch center touchscreen. It also replaces basic lighting with full LED headlamps and upgrades the cabin with a split-screen digital interface and vinyl leatherette upholstery, features that are highly valued by GCC buyers during resale.

Ford Territory vs Segment Rivals

The Territory stands out against rivals like the Toyota Corolla Cross and Nissan X-Trail by offering a more powerful 1.8L EcoBoost engine with 320 Nm of torque, providing superior highway overtaking. Its 190 mm ground clearance and wide 1,935 mm footprint give it a more commanding presence on the road than most compact crossovers in its class.

Running Costs & Resale

Real-world fuel consumption for the 1.8L EcoBoost averages around 12.5 km/L, though drivers on long UAE highway stretches like Dubai to Abu Dhabi can see even better efficiency. Ford maintains an extensive authorized service network through Al Tayer in the UAE and Al Jazirah in Saudi Arabia, ensuring parts availability and warranty support across the GCC. The Territory has shown strong value retention, typically depreciating slower than newer market entrants.

Performance & Capability

The 1.8L turbocharged engine delivers a punchy 190 hp, allowing for a brisk 0–100 km/h time of 8.5 seconds, which is ideal for merging into fast-moving highway traffic. A 7-speed automatic transmission ensures smooth power delivery, while the four selectable drive modes allow you to calibrate throttle response for city traffic or mountain roads. Despite being front-wheel drive, the refined multi-link rear suspension provides excellent stability during long-distance cross-border trips.

Comfort & Cabin

The interior is designed for GCC summers, featuring a powerful multi-zone climate control system with dedicated rear vents to keep all five passengers cool. The flat rear floor design provides genuine adult-sized legroom in the second row, making it one of the most spacious cabins in the compact segment. Noise insulation is particularly impressive, shielding the cabin from wind noise during high-speed highway cruising.

Safety

This Trend trim comes equipped with six airbags and a comprehensive suite of safety tech including Blind Spot Information System (BLIS) and Rear Cross Traffic Alert, both essential for multi-lane GCC highways. Standard active safety includes Electronic Stability Control, Traction Control, and Hill Start Assist to maintain composure on varied surfaces. The inclusion of a high-resolution rear-view camera and parking sensors as standard makes urban maneuvering effortless.

The bottom line

For the GCC buyer seeking a brand-new experience without the new-car showroom premium, this ultra-low mileage 2026 Trend is the smartest entry point into Ford's modern SUV lineup.
