Summary

This 2024 HSE P400 is an exceptional find for the GCC market, offering the prestige of the latest Range Rover generation with a mileage profile that suggests careful highway use across the Emirates. Its Fuji White finish is arguably the strongest resale color in the region, providing excellent heat reflection and long-term value retention. As the High Specification Equipment (HSE) trim, it bridges the gap between the base models and the flagship variants, offering essential luxury features without the heavy depreciation of the V8 engines. For the Dubai or Riyadh owner, this mild-hybrid straight-six offers the perfect balance of smooth highway cruising and sensible fuel efficiency in stop-start city traffic. It remains the definitive choice for those who require a vehicle that is equally at home at a five-star hotel as it is navigating a weekend desert trail.

This Car vs Other 2024 Range Rovers

With approximately 68,440 km, this vehicle’s usage is slightly above the regional average for a one-year-old car but reflects the typical long-distance commuting common in the UAE and KSA. The Fuji White exterior is a significant advantage for resale, as it is the most sought-after color in the GCC used market. This P400 model offers a more modern and efficient mild-hybrid powertrain compared to older stock, making it a more future-proof investment.

HSE P400 vs Lower Trims

The HSE trim is a substantial step up from the base SE, adding highly desirable features for the GCC climate such as ventilated rear seats and soft-close doors. It also upgrades the cabin with premium Windsor leather and a more powerful Meridian sound system as standard. Perhaps most importantly for local buyers, the HSE includes the 3D Surround Camera system, which is essential for navigating tight parking spaces in Dubai and Abu Dhabi.

Range Rover vs Segment Rivals

The Range Rover leads rivals like the BMW X7 and Mercedes-Benz GLS in pure off-road versatility, thanks to its superior ground clearance and dedicated Terrain Response 2 hardware. While the German competitors focus on on-road dynamics, the Range Rover offers a more cushioned air-ride quality that excels on long desert highway stretches. Its iconic silhouette and unparalleled brand prestige in the GCC give it a social standing that no other SUV in this price bracket can match.

Running Costs & Resale

The P400 mild-hybrid engine averages approximately 10.5 L/100km, which is efficient for a full-size luxury SUV in GCC conditions. Land Rover’s authorized service network is extensive across the UAE, Saudi Arabia, and Kuwait, with recommended service intervals typically set at 13,000 km or 12 months. While European luxury SUVs generally depreciate by 12-15% annually in the region, the high-demand white HSE spec helps this specific model maintain a stronger price floor than its black or grey counterparts.

Performance & Capability

The 3.0-litre turbocharged straight-six delivers a verified 0-100 km/h time of 5.8 seconds, ensuring effortless overtaking on fast-moving highways like the E11. Its Terrain Response 2 system automatically adjusts the air suspension and drivetrain for sand, mud, or rock, providing genuine capability for weekend adventures in the Liwa or Al Qudra deserts. With a braked towing capacity of up to 3,500 kg, it is also fully equipped for hauling jet skis or horse trailers.

Comfort & Cabin

The cabin is a sanctuary from the GCC summer, featuring four-zone climate control and a powerful AC system designed for extreme temperatures. Both front and rear passengers benefit from ventilated seats, while the acoustic laminated glass keeps the interior whisper-quiet at highway speeds. The 13.1-inch Pivi Pro touchscreen is bright and responsive, ensuring navigation and media are easily accessible even in direct sunlight.

Safety

This HSE trim comes equipped with a comprehensive safety suite including Adaptive Cruise Control with Steering Assist, which significantly reduces fatigue on long desert drives. It features Blind Spot Assist and Rear Traffic Monitor to help manage the multi-lane highway environment of major GCC cities. Additionally, the standard 3D Surround Camera and ClearSight interior rearview mirror provide unobstructed visibility, even when the 725-litre boot is fully loaded for a family road trip.

The bottom line

This white 2024 HSE P400 is the ideal choice for a professional looking for the region's most prestigious SUV with a sensible powertrain and the most desirable local specification. It offers a rare opportunity to own the current-generation icon with a high-value trim level that will hold its appeal for years to come.
