Summary

This 2025 Nissan Patrol LE Platinum City represents a significant opportunity as the first model year of the all-new Y63 generation. With only 11,000 km, it has been driven approximately half the typical annual mileage for a GCC-based SUV, effectively offering a near-new experience. The Green exterior is a unique, premium choice that stands out in a market dominated by white and silver, while remaining a sophisticated option for resale. As the range-topping twin-turbo variant, it combines flagship luxury with the most advanced powertrain Nissan has ever offered in the region. For a GCC buyer, the integration of high-heat resistant turbochargers and the strongest authorized service network in the Middle East makes this a peerless choice for long-term ownership.

This Car vs Other 2025 Patrols

With just 11,000 km on the odometer, this vehicle sits well below the expected 20,000–25,000 km annual average for the UAE and wider GCC. The distinctive Green finish provides a prestigious alternative to standard fleet colors, making it highly desirable for private buyers. Choosing a first-year Y63 generation car with such low mileage provides the benefit of the latest technology while avoiding the initial steep depreciation of a showroom-fresh unit.

LE PLATINUM CITY vs Lower Trims

The LE Platinum City is the only variant to feature adaptive air suspension, providing superior ride quality compared to the coil-spring setups found on the Titanium and SE trims. It upgrades the cabin with 22-inch machine-cut alloys, a 12-speaker Klipsch premium audio system, and the innovative Biometric Cooling system that adjusts airflow based on passenger body temperature. You also gain the Invisible Hood View and a full Head-up Display, features not available on lower-tier LE models.

Patrol vs Segment Rivals

The Patrol leads the Toyota Land Cruiser 300 in torque, delivering 700 Nm for effortless highway overtaking and sand dune climbing. Its cabin refinement is tailored for GCC summers, featuring a standard refrigerator and more third-row legroom than the Land Cruiser. The addition of the Klipsch audio system and adaptive air suspension gives it a luxury edge over the more utility-focused American rivals in this segment.

Running Costs & Resale

The new 3.5L twin-turbo engine is more efficient than the outgoing V8, achieving approximately 9.9 L/100km on the highway. Nissan maintains one of the most extensive authorized service networks across the UAE, Saudi Arabia, and Kuwait, ensuring parts are always accessible. As a GCC-spec flagship, this model historically retains roughly 65-70% of its value over three years, benefiting from the massive local demand for the Patrol badge.

Performance & Capability

Generating 425 hp, this twin-turbo V6 provides 7% more power than the previous 5.6L V8, paired with a smooth 9-speed automatic transmission. The 244 mm ground clearance and selectable terrain modes—including Sand, Rock, and Mud—ensure it is as capable on weekend desert trips as it is refined on the E11 highway. The adaptive air suspension allows for adjustable ride height, making it easy to clear obstacles or lower the vehicle for improved stability at high speeds.

Comfort & Cabin

The eight-seat interior is a sanctuary from the GCC heat, equipped with three-zone climate control and ventilated front seats as standard. The LE Platinum City features genuine quilted leather and 64-color ambient lighting, creating an executive atmosphere for long cross-emirate drives. Rear passengers benefit from dedicated entertainment screens and an air filter with an ionizer to ensure cabin air quality remains high during dusty conditions.

Safety

This flagship trim includes the full Nissan ProPILOT suite, featuring adaptive cruise control and lane-keep assist for relaxed long-distance travel. The 360-degree camera system is augmented by the Invisible Hood View, which is invaluable for both tight parking in Dubai and navigating rocky terrain off-road. Standard safety equipment includes seven airbags, blind-spot intervention, and autonomous emergency braking with pedestrian detection.

The bottom line

This is the ultimate specification of the most anticipated SUV in the region, offering a low-mileage entry into the new Y63 generation with the exclusive air suspension and Klipsch audio not found on lower trims.
