Summary

This Land Cruiser EXR offers a balanced entry into the LC300 generation, featuring a 4.0L V6 that is highly regarded for its mechanical simplicity and long-term durability in the region. With the Vehicle Age of 1 years, the mileage of 87,000 km indicates heavy highway use, which is common for executive or family commuters between Emirates. The white exterior is the most strategically sound choice for the GCC market, providing the best heat management during peak summer and ensuring the strongest possible resale demand. As a GCC-spec model, it benefits from a cooling system optimized for local temperatures and full compatibility with local service centers. This is a reliable workhorse for those who prioritize Toyota's legendary dependability and high value retention over complex hybrid systems.

This Car vs Other 2025 Land Cruisers

At 87,000 km, this vehicle's mileage is high compared to the GCC annual average of 25,000 km for a car of this age. However, these kilometers are typically accumulated on smooth UAE highways, where the 4.0L V6 operates efficiently at steady speeds. The white exterior is the top-performing color for resale in the local market, making it an excellent investment compared to darker alternatives.

EXR vs Lower Trims

As the foundational trim for the LC300 in the UAE, the EXR provides essential off-road hardware including a rear differential lock and the 4.0L engine. While it foregoes the synthetic leather and larger 20-inch wheels found on the GXR, it retains the core 12.3-inch touchscreen and dual-zone climate control that are vital for comfort in the local climate. It is the preferred choice for buyers who want the Land Cruiser's capability without the added complexity of higher-tier electronics.

Land Cruiser vs Segment Rivals

The Land Cruiser remains the benchmark for value retention in the GCC, consistently outperforming rivals like the Nissan Patrol and Ford Expedition in long-term depreciation. Its 110-litre fuel tank is specifically designed for cross-border drives, offering superior range compared to more road-biased American SUVs. While rivals may offer more engine power, the Land Cruiser leads in desert reliability and the sheer density of the Toyota service network across the region.

Running Costs & Resale

Real-world fuel consumption for the 4.0L V6 is approximately 10.6 L/100km, performing well during long highway stretches between cities but rising in stop-start Dubai or Riyadh traffic. Toyota’s authorized service network is the most extensive in the GCC, ensuring parts are available in every major town from Kuwait to Oman. This model historically enjoys a very low depreciation rate of approximately 8-10% annually, making it one of the safest financial assets in the used car market.

Performance & Capability

The 271 hp V6 engine provides reliable power for both highway overtaking and weekend desert excursions. A ground clearance of 235 mm and a 700 mm wading depth allow for confident navigation of sandy tracks and occasional seasonal flooding. The 6-speed automatic transmission is tuned for durability, ensuring smooth shifts even when the vehicle is fully loaded with seven passengers.

Comfort & Cabin

The cabin is configured as a 7-seater, utilizing durable fabric upholstery that stays cooler than leather in the intense GCC heat. The dual-zone air conditioning is legendary for its ability to reach freezing temperatures quickly, a non-negotiable feature for local summers. Dedicated rear vents ensure that passengers in all three rows remain comfortable during long family road trips across the Emirates.

Safety

This trim includes essential safety systems such as multiple airbags, stability control, and hill-start assist, which are particularly useful when navigating steep dunes or gravel paths. Standard parking sensors and a rear-view camera provide necessary assistance for a vehicle of this size in tight urban parking. The robust ladder-frame construction offers superior passive safety and durability compared to monocoque rivals.

The bottom line

For the pragmatist, this 1-year-old Land Cruiser EXR is a durable, white-on-beige 4x4 that offers maximum resale security and legendary cooling performance for the GCC climate.
