Summary

This 2025 Toyota Raize Turbo G is a standout choice for urban drivers in the GCC, offering a perfect balance of Toyota's legendary reliability and modern efficiency. Finished in silver—a top-tier color for maintaining strong resale value in the local market—it represents a smart move for those who want SUV height without high running costs. Unlike the base 1.2L models, this G trim features the turbocharged engine that provides the extra responsiveness needed for merging onto fast-moving highways like Sheikh Zayed Road. With its compact footprint making it effortless to park in busy city centers, it remains the most practical entry point into the Toyota SUV family. Owning a Raize in the GCC is simplified by the massive support network, ensuring parts and service are never more than a short drive away in any emirate.

This Car vs Other 2025 Raizes

As a 2025 model, this Raize offers the latest in subcompact crossover engineering, with mileage that typically remains well below the high annual averages seen in the GCC. Silver is one of the most sought-after colors in the regional used market, ensuring faster turnover and better value retention when it comes time to upgrade. Choosing a 2025 model year provides the security of the latest production refinements and the remainder of a comprehensive manufacturer warranty.

TURBO G RA vs Lower Trims

The TURBO G RA trim is a significant upgrade over the entry-level XLE, replacing the naturally aspirated 1.2L engine with a 1.0L turbocharged unit for much better agility in traffic. GCC buyers will appreciate the 17-inch dual-tone alloy wheels and LED sequential turn signals that give it a more premium presence on the road. Inside, it adds a leather-wrapped multifunction steering wheel and a more advanced 8-inch touchscreen with seamless smartphone integration.

Raize vs Segment Rivals

The Raize leads competitors like the Nissan Magnite and Hyundai Venue by offering a massive 369-litre boot, which is best-in-class for its size. While rivals often struggle with parts availability, the Toyota badge ensures a seamless ownership experience with a service network that spans the entire GCC. Its platform is specifically designed to maximize interior headroom, providing a more airy feel than the lower-slung crossovers in this segment.

Running Costs & Resale

With a manufacturer-claimed economy of 20.6 km/L, the Raize is one of the most fuel-efficient non-hybrid SUVs available in the UAE and Saudi Arabia today. Toyota models in the GCC typically enjoy the lowest depreciation rates in the market, often retaining up to 65% of their value after three years of use. Service intervals are conveniently set at every 10,000 km, and with Al-Futtaim and other major regional distributors, routine maintenance is both affordable and quick.

Performance & Capability

The 1.0L turbocharged 3-cylinder engine produces 97 horsepower and 140 Nm of torque, which feels surprisingly punchy thanks to the car's lightweight construction. It features a specialized 'Power Mode' button on the steering wheel, specifically useful for sudden bursts of speed during highway overtaking. While it offers a generous 185 mm of ground clearance for navigating high speed bumps and gravel roads, it remains a front-wheel-drive city specialist optimized for tarmac comfort.

Comfort & Cabin

The cabin is designed with the 'Command View' seating position, offering the high-visibility perspective that GCC SUV drivers prefer. Despite its compact exterior, the 2,525 mm wheelbase allows for genuine five-passenger seating with impressive legroom for its class. The air conditioning system is engineered for the extreme heat of the Gulf, featuring powerful cooling that quickly regulates cabin temperature even in peak summer months.

Safety

Standard safety equipment on the TURBO G includes Vehicle Stability Control (VSC) and Hill-Start Assist, providing confidence during sudden maneuvers or on inclined ramps. It is equipped with front parking sensors and a high-definition rear camera to make tight urban parking completely stress-free. Passive safety is bolstered by multiple airbags and an ISOFIX system for secure child seat installation, making it a reliable choice for young families.

The bottom line

This Raize is the ideal match for a first-time buyer or city commuter looking for an efficient, high-trim SUV that guarantees the highest possible resale value in the GCC.
