Entering its second generation, the 2017 Lincoln MKZ is now available across the UAE. Sharing its underpinnings with the Ford Fusion, this is a luxury sedan worth upgrading to.
Borrowing cosmetic cues from the recently launched Continental, 2017 Lincoln MKZ prove to be a worthy adversary of the Lexus ES and Audi A6.
Inside, drivers and passengers alike are treated to an exquisite interior including leather seats, “floating” centre console, premium Revel sound system and push-button gear selector to name a few.
Regarding technology, the 2017 MKZ can be fitted with a powered panoramic sunroof, adaptive cruise control, blind spot detection mirrors, park assist, lane keep assist, pre-collision detection and pedestrian detection just to name a few.
Powering the 2017 Lincoln MKZ is a selection of two motors. Either a 2-litre turbocharged petrol engine rated at 250 horsepower and 389 Nm of torque or a larger 3-litre V6 twin turbo unit rated at 365 hp and 570 Nm of torque.
Both motors power the front axle and those opting for the V6 will be happy to know they own one of the most powerful front-wheel drive cars to date. Drivers can choose between three unique drive modes; Comfort, Sport and Normal.
Prices start at AED 160,000 for the 2017 Lincoln MXZ equipped with a four pot motor and AED 220,000 for the V6 with prices increasing depending on the options you want.
As the model has just launched across the region, we have yet to see one pop up online, but we do have other used Lincoln for sale in Dubai, Sharjah and Ajman.
